mine would be the white rose for after death

I choose the white rose, because (hold on, I've been having this rant before - if it's familiar then skip these lines) when I was one year and one day old (1st of June, -91) my parents got married in our garden and since the priest was already there, I got baptised. On that day, the white rose bush in our garden was in full bloom, and my dad took one of the flowers and gave to baby me.
We still got that bush, and it's still blooming around my birthday - even if it's far from pretty IMO. Years ago I tried to take flowers of the white rose into the house to have in my room, with an invasion of insects as a result! The little buggers had been hiding among the petals...
