The Blunderbuss AA23
The Blunderbuss of Empyrea is a weapon with a simply unnatural amount of parts and a ridiculous design, including a curvy, wooden stock, a trigger and a lever action. That's where things stopped being normal. There was a piece that looked like the hammer and was coiled in the rear. Beyond that were a few switches on top, another cocking piece (or so it looked) on the left side, a small tank and a few gauges on the right side connected to bits of intricate, copper tubing leading to the underside of the weapon. Another, smaller tank was placed just a little further up the weapon. Opposite the tank, on the left side was some sort of...crank, and many more tubes along with a thinner, longer tank a little more up the body of the weapon. The upper half of the weapon was mostly copper. Atop the body, right next to the tank, was yet another tank built into the top of the weapon with a smoky glass tub projecting from its rear. Directly following the tank was a strange, copper sphere raised slightly above the other parts with a small, T-4 1/2 light bulb connected to the front. The base of the barrel had two, T-10 light bulbs projecting from the top. The barrel itself was relatively simple, consisted of metal with copper pipes running along it and a small tube running underneath the base of the barrel. The end was what was so interesting, as it coned out with three, thin, steel rings connected to the barrel only by metal rods with the barrel itself coning out to about half-way through the rings.
Elf Candy
Basically, Elf Candy is colorfully wrapped candy that looks and tastes much like a peppermint. It's designed to give whoever eats the candy a temporary boost in their stamina to help keep them going. However, relying too much on this candy can result in permanent damage to the user's body if they don't rest between doses.
Steamthrowers
They look similar to military flamethrowers. There are two cylinders worn on the soldier's back, and a steam gauge in the middle. The gun is a copper pipe with tight nozzles attached to the front end and a handle with a trigger on the other. The handle and mid-section of the pipes are covered with rubber.
A thin, flexible tube connects the gun mechanism to the cylinders. The soldiers that wield these weapons wear noticeably different uniforms than the others.
These weapons are designed to spew concentrated streams of steam at enemies to cause them a slow, painful death.
Vaporiacinac
Wielded by the same soldiers that carry steamthrowers, they are very similar in design, the only difference being instead of a gun, the tank is connected to a perforated blade that emits the steam when the handle is depressed.
The weapon is designed for the steam to assist in painfully cutting through enemies.
Steam Grenades
Steam grenades look very similar to fragmentation grenades, except with a slightly for rustic design.
When a steam grenade goes off, a loud clicking noise sounds out as the grenade's internal components activat and the outer casing begins to rotate with more clicking sounds. Within a second, a whirring sound picks up, louder than the clicking and it rapidly speeds up. Within another second, several pores open up on the grenade and concentrated jets of steam shoot from the grenade.
The jets don't have as much range as a frag grenade would have, but the jets can cause heavy damage to anything in range and melts through metal easily.
"Railway Rifle"
The Railway Rifle (obviously much smaller than the massive, artillery railway rifles of our world) is an incredibly simple weapon designed to propel railway spikes great distances and with great force. It appears to be made of simply a wooden stock, a modified, old steam gauge assembly as the barrel, and something that resembles a pressure cooker connecting the two. A round of spikes is placed into the pressure cooker-like portion of the gun and the trigger is simply pulled. Pressure generated inside the weapon propels the spikes forward with enough velocity to travel a few hundred feet and impale or even dismember infantry.
Hydroiasis
Hydroiasis (AKA "Healing Water") is a misty-blue liquid substance contained in a cylindrical glass tube, roughly the size of a grown man's middle finger and capped on each end with rubber.
When the vial is broken and the substance is exposed to an open wound, it accelerates the healing process and mimics missing or damaged tissue (though it comes well short of replacing a missing limb), but it does nary a thing to biological agents stronger than a common infection, and even then, it's mostly the body, temporarily accelerated by the substance, that's dealing with the infection.
MADHATTER's Tea
The tea that the MADHATTER is almost always seen drinking. Upon drinking the sweet liquid, one experiences a serene, calming sensation while their minds are put at ease. The MADHATTER claims that it comes in a variety of flavors, but so far only the sweet, calming tea has been tasted by anyone other than the MADHATTER. It is unclear as to whether or not different flavors would have different effects.
Given the calming effects of the tea and the MADHATTER's near-constant consumption of it, it can be assumed that the MADHATTER is actually much more unstable than he already appears, a rather terrifying thought.
