so these business types and the artists they employ decide it is time to take a wonderful product, an idea, a series, a character, what-have-you, and make it more "modern" and "relevant".

They tried to do that with the movie Psycho, and it was an abysmal failure.

gemela dos has a sig with powerpuff buttercup in it and i just love those girls, but i hate what they did with Powerpuff Z by coating them with makeup and giving them leggy older bodies. yuk!

Star Trek. I mean, it was a good movie, but they shouldn't have done it. I hated the whole modern tech look.

The Dark Knight. They "improved" The Joker... except he was terrible. They basically changed him from The Joker to some regular evil dude who dresses up as The Joker.

The Producers. That was terrible.

They're thinking of redoing Rocky Horror. NO!

The American versions of the Swedish Pipi Longstocking movies kind of ruined the whole feel of those stories.

I didn't like the remade Star Trek movie that came out recently either. I didn't like the redefining of old characters I loved
