The first section on the left has body shop tutorials, it was all I needed to get started making things with it. But for the record, in order to use it, you're also going to need a digital imaging program like photoshop or gimp.
I'm still struggling, because all I have is the paint program that came with my computer- the kind that comes with all of them. Which paint program is the best to use for Sims 2? Edit: I successfully made a new eye color and tried to make a new skin color and a new outfit. I have another question : How do I know which file in the item file to paint sometimes there's several that look the same but have different names. I'm sorry but I don't know the proper termonology to elaborate any further.
I can't say which program is best, but personally I use photoshop. When recoloring clothes, you color all the colored files, and leave the black and white ones alone. each of the colored ones is a different part of the outfit so you have to color them all, even if they all look exactly the same. Hope that made sense.

Yes, it made sense. Thank you. On photoshop, can you use different textures? Edit:Is Gimp a good program?
I'm not sure what you mean about using different textures? I've heard only good things about gimp but I don't use it myself so I can't say firsthand.

Sorry, I'll try to elaborate. Like a picture having texture or looking like real cloth or something...it's hard for me to explain. Perhaps what I meant is patterns.
