Name: Kuro Hikaru (Koo-roh Hee-kar-oo)
Aliases/ Nicknames: The Living Reaper

Physical Description: He is about 5 feet 9 inches tall and well built. His hair is of medium length and jet black. Silver streaks color his bangs. Kuro wears modern clothes as opposed to his old Shinigami robes. The colors that he wears is usually black and white.

Age:19 (died at the age of 10 in the year of 2000)

Zanpaktou's Spirit & Name: Akuyami, the spirit of the living shadow and the living light. The spirit within Kuro's Zanpaktou has a split personality that is of light and shadow. Not necessarily good and evil, but it thinks intelligently between the two. In essence, it is one spirit, but can split into two.

Zanpaktou: It is a iron bladed katana with a black scabbard. The symbol upon the casing is a white angel wing.

Shikai Release: Scream like the demon, sing like the angel, Akuyami

Shikai: First, the blade turns half black on the sharp edge of the blade and white on the dull edge. The white edges melts away in a flurry of feathers toward the users left hand as it morphs into a new blade. The black blade left will morph and turn into a wicked and demonic weapon, with a large red eye encrusted with the hilt of the sword. Its blade is straight and jagged. The White blade will form a more elegant weapon, its blade the same length and width as the demonic one (roughly 7 inches or so wide), the blade in the shape of a straight white bar with feathers jutting out from the inside edge of the blade. A blue sapphire is encrusted in the hilt. Kuro will gain the ability to use both at an incredible speed. Both are extremely light weight.

Personality: Kuro is a serious young man, but always finds a way to have fun, since his duties as a soul reaper aren't needed anymore.

Biography/History: Kuro's past is shrouded in death and rebirth. He appeared in the soul society at the age of 10 and was accepted into the Shinigami Academy almost immediately after his arrival. Kuro was accepted for his unique amount of spiritual energy that emanated from his soul. Only a boy among other candidates of Shinigami status, he excelled in all his training. After 6 years of training, Kuro became a Shinigami and joined the 13th Division of the Court Guard Squads led by Jushiro Ukitake.

Biography/History: Kuro's past is shrouded in death and rebirth. He was a shinigami at first, but was banished from the soul society for using his hallow powers without caution. Kuro ended up killing almost all of his task force members on a mission. Though he pleaded with the 13 Court Guard Squads that it was all an accident and that the Hallow within was the culprit. They simply said, "Leave or be killed like the rest of the evil rats." Kuro stepped into the real world and was constantly attacked by Hallows which in turn triggered his Hallofication. He desperately searches for a way to control this strange power before it consumes him entirely.
