I noticed that most of the people in this guild use unique weapons but does anyone have all of them. So in this forum post a weapon and its location.
PostPosted: Sat Sep 19, 2009 12:58 pm
oh god.... im ganna have to do so much here... ok, "ahem"
UNARMED
Plunkett's Valid Points - Plunkett's Valid Points are dropped by Junders Plunkett who is found at the Arlington House in the Arlington Cemetery. You must have the Lawbringer perk to get this item. The contract for his bounty can be found on the body of a Regulator nearby, though finding this is not necessary for finding Plunkett.

The Shocker - The Shocker is found, complete with holotaped instructions, at the end of the Flooded Metro west of Arlington Library, opposite a large ruined traffic pile-up. The player will have to fight through many Mirelurks, at higher levels the majority of these are Mirelurk Kings, and wade through some irradiated water to access the room. The room itself is booby trapped with a Rigged Shotgun.

Fisto! - Fisto! can be found on the upper area of the Derelict Power Plant right across from MDPL-13 Power Station next to a computer on a desk. This is northwest of Minefield. Inside the power plant are multiple Feral Ghouls, and two Glowing Ones.(Going to this location at higher levels with Broken Steel there are multiple Glowing Ones, Feral Ghoul Roamers, and a Feral Ghoul Reaver)

The Pitt

Steel Knuckles - Steel Knuckles can be obtained by turning in 30 Steel Ingots to Everett during the Unsafe Working Conditions quest.

OK, thats all the unique unarmed items, ill be back with melee ^^

MELEE

The Break - he Break is found on a pool table in the center of Paradise Falls next to the roasting brahmin near the entrance to Eulogy's Pad.

Ant's Sting - Received when you complete the mission The Superhuman Gambit. Side with the AntAgonizer and give her the Mechanist's costume for the weapon.

Butch's Toothpick - The weapon cannot be acquired if you kill him on your Escape from Vault 101. It shows up on his corpse as a regular Switchblade.
If Butch is acquired as a follower later on, his Toothpick can usually be taken by swapping items.
Other than swapping it from him, the easiest way to get Butch's Toothpick (without making anyone hostile) is simply to pickpocket it from him. Reverse-pickpocket any fully-repaired Combat Knife onto him, which he will equip, thus forcing the Toothpick into his inventory. You can also collect enough 10mm Pistols and repair them to full, then sneak up behind him and do a reverse-pickpocket. Leave his floor and go through a door so an auto-save happens. Return to Butch and he will have the 10mm Pistol equipped so you can pickpocket his Toothpick.
A more expensive but faster swap method is to reverse pick-pocket a Shishkebab into Butch's inventory. He will immediately equip the Shishkebab, allowing you to pick-pocket Butch's Toothpick.
Another method for getting the switchblade is to wait until Butch shows up at the Muddy Rudder in Rivet City. Start a fight with him and then shoot the knife from his hands. Grab the knife, leave Rivet City and wait 72 hours. After three days, all hostility from Butch should be gone.

Highwayman's Friend - Sitting on a shelf in Dominic's and Machete's garage in Canterbury Commons.

Occam's Razor - Found on Commander Jabsco at the Talon Company base in Fort Bannister.

Stabhappy - It is found on a raider in "The Raid Shack", a short distance east of the "Bethesda Ruins". Be careful, there is often a raider armed with a Flamer in the building.

Board of Education - Found in the Clifftop Shacks.

Vampire's Edge - The Vampire's Edge belongs to Vance, and can be found in a 'sword cabinet' (labeled as such in game) in his room in Meresti Station, an important location during the Blood Ties quest. Apart from its unique label, the sword cabinet's appearance is that of a normal wooden cabinet.

The cabinet is a 'Hard' level lock to unlock via lockpicking. Vance carries the key to the cabinet and may be pickpocketed, but he is a difficult target to pickpocket unnoticed, even with a Stealth Boy active. The key can, of course, also be looted from his corpse.

The Tenderizer - Located in Anchorage Memorial in the utility room with the broken door. The door can be fixed by finding the Door Component, but note that you need a Lockpick or Science level of 50 to be able to open the safe in which the door component is stored in the top level of the building. (You can look behind the Nuka-Cola dispenser to obtain the passcode for the computer in the same room, which will then allow you to unlock the safe.) A Repair skill of 35 or higher is required to fix the door with the help of the component. Without the component a repair skill of 95 is required.

Fawkes' Super Sledge - He also will use it later on if you decide to have him join you after escaping Raven Rock. To obtain it, kill him or accept him as an ally and trade equipment with him. If you choose to take it, Fawkes is equipped with a normal sledgehammer. You may also pickpocket one from him. (he appears to have two in his inventory when pickpocketing.)

Also, if your karma is not high enough to get him in your party and you don't want to kill or pickpocket him, wait for one of the super mutants in Vault 87 to knock it out of his hands. After the fight he will usually pick up the weapon that the super mutant used or the aforementioned sledgehammer. Then you are free to pick it up off of the ground. If you did not get it during Finding the Garden of Eden, if you go back to Vault 87 when you have Fawkes as a follower he will equip his super sledge. You must be in the experimental section of Vault 87 where Fawkes was originally found for him to equip it.

Plus in Fallout 3 Broken Steel when you wake up ,Fawkes should have the rare super sledge (IF HE IS NOT A FOLLOWER)

Jack - Found on a Enclave Officer inside the Deathclaw Sanctuary.

Trench Knife - After completing the Anchorage Reclamation simulation in Operation: Anchorage, a sealed armory is unlocked in the Outcast Outpost which contains several DLC-exclusive weapons and armor.

Jingwei's Shock Sword - After completing the Anchorage Reclamation simulation in Operation: Anchorage, a sealed armory is unlocked in the Outcast Outpost which contains several DLC-exclusive weapons and armor.
The Pitt

Man Opener - The weapon is found on a bed in the back of the Supply Plant in The Pitt Steelyard close to a single Steel Ingot.

Enter the Supply Plant, then go east through the hallway. Turn north and continue until you reach two exits. Take the left. Continue through the passage, climb the stairs, and eventually exit into a large room. There's a bed on the left as you enter. Man Opener is on the bed.

If you have already completed the Supply Plant and opened the final door, you can enter the zone, go through the door on the left, and climb the stairs. It will lead you to the upstairs room and the bed in less time.

The Mauler - It can be obtained from Everett during the quest Unsafe Working Conditions once 80 Steel Ingots have been handed in.

Point Lookout

Toy Knife - The Toy Knife can be found south of Turtledove Detention Camp, in the vicinity of one of the yellow signs. Fast travel to Turtledove. Exit the center via the south gate with the truck. You should see a sign just past the gate. Go south until you find an identical sign. From this sign look due west and move forward to locate the small passage through the thicket. Pass through and immediately turn right. Then skirt along the hedge for a short distance until you reach a large tree stump (this particular stump can be seen if you stand next to the sign and turn west by north-west; it's just past the bushes). The knife should be right near the base of the stump, on top of a small milk crate with a hockey mask. See the picture below for location if you can't find it.

Ritual Knife - It is found in the caves beneath the Ritual Site on the sacrificing table near the book after beginning the quest The Dark Heart of Blackhall. (the caves entrance is sealed until you start the quest)

Fertilizer Shovel - You can get it from the Tribal Croatoa (keeper of the punga fruits at Ark & Dove Cathedral), with the Child at Heart perk, or by passing a speech check after asking about his 'secrets'. You may also kill him and retrieve it from his body, but this method is not recommended unless you have already completed both the Walking with Spirits and Hearing Voices quests. It does -4 HP for 10 seconds on strike, likely due to the Fertilizer it was used with.

The Dismemberer - This axe can be obtained by completing Plik's Safari.

Mothership Zeta

Electro-Suppressor - Enter the Engine Room during the generator-destruction phase of the main quest. Walk down the stairs and you will see a groove in the wall with a window. If you look through it you can actually see the weapon. Follow that corridor until you get into the big open area. Take a sharp left when you get to the open area, and then it will be your first left on the same wall you came in from. Go in that room and then follow the small corridor and at the end it will be lying on a table.

Samurai's Sword - The Samurai's Sword can be found in the Waste Disposal area of the mothership, accessible through the Maintenance Level (which can be entered during Among the Stars). It is at the "end" of the area in a closet full of medical supplies (see Waste Disposal article for a map with the location marked). When found, it can be given to Toshiro Kago or kept.
The sword will vanish from this location once Toshiro leaves the group in the Engineering Core, presumably because he retrieves it (he does not actually travel there, though; the sword's disappearance is scripted). He will then have it with him when you meet him the next time in the Living Quarters or on the Bridge during and after This Galaxy Ain't Big Enough... Here you can obtain it either by reverse-pickpocketing or killing him. You can kill Toshiro Kago without any Karma loss.

SMALL GUNS

Zhu-Rong v418 Chinese Pistol - The Zhu-Rong pistol can only be found in L.O.B. Enterprises. It is found behind a Very Hard locked door (requires 100 lockpick) in the CEO's office in the case on his desk. The key for the case is inside his desk. It is also possible to reach the case by working your way around the edge of the destroyed top floor until you are on the other side of the locked door.

Colonel Autumn's 10mm Pistol - * During the Waters of Life quest after Colonel Autumn supposedly "dies", you can grab his belongings as long as he falls near the door. You must face directly towards the body with the cursor directly on the body in first person view. Once this is done, hold down the button that changes the perspective and you should be able to rotate the camera. Rotate the camera half-way and you should see a "Search Colonel Autumn" message. You can also search Dad and possibly everyone in the room if they fall close enough to the wall.
Colonel Autumn does not have his Laser Pistol until Take It Back!, at which point he swaps weapons. This being said, the only way to loot the 10mm Pistol without using the PC command console is to use the aforementioned camera glitch.
If playing on the PC, one can use the console command "TCL" to move through the door and loot belongings of everyone in the room. At any other point in the game the player may use the command console to generate a new gun.
If you have some spare pulse grenades with you then you can "move" the bodies closer to the door with careful use.
Some players have found that looting Colonel Autumn's body during Take It Back! does yield both the 10mm and Laser Pistol he is intended to use during that quest. Unfortunately, this means that you must install Broken Steel or purposely not complete the main quest to use them. There is, however, no way of knowing whether the 10mm will be present on his body.

Blackhawk - Upon completion of Agatha's Song.
To get the weapon in full condition when you receive it, be polite to Agatha when both accepting the quest and receiving the pistol after completing the quest.
NOTE: You must also get her atleast one sheet music to obtain Blackhawk.

Sydney's 10mm "Ultra" SMG - Sydney the relic hunter carries this weapon. It can be obtained by either killing her (no bad karma), letting her die or finishing the quest Stealing Independence and giving her "A Note from Little Moonbeam's Father".
"A Note from Little Moonbeam's Father" is located within the Statesman hotel in the quest Reilly's Rangers. During the mission, be sure to check the side rooms until you find a skeleton on one of the beds. You'll find an assault rifle under the bed, some ammo next to it, and the voice tape on the bed next to or under the corpse. Go back to Sydney after finding it in Rivet City and she will tell you it was from her father, that he was attempting to make one big deal and set her up for life, but was double crossed. Realizing she was wrong about her father, she will give you the gun. When she gives you the gun, you will keep the holotape and it is likely the game will glitch and the 10mm Ultra SMG will remain in her inventory. This means you can take the gun an unlimited number of times. Note however that this can only be done AFTER returning the Declaration to Washington. After speaking to her in Rivet City, she will move to Underworld and become a weapons merchant there.

Xuanlong Assault Rifle - It is found on Prime's body in the diner near the Jury Street Metro Station.

Ol' Painless - In an unpickable safe in The Republic of Dave Capitol Building. Dave's Special Key required to open the safe.
You can get the key by pickpocketing Dave.
You can also get the safe open by successfully electing another member of the family. If Bob is elected he says he needs to throw out Dave's junk. If Rosie is elected, she gives you Dave's items as your "reward" for helping her. Even so taking from the safe is still considered stealing (likely a bug). If you take Ol' Painless from the safe and then speak to someone from the town, it is possible they will take it from you. If this occurs the only way to get it back is through more negative karma of either pickpocketing it or killing them and looting it.
You can obtain the key if you have the "You Gotta Shoot 'Em in the Head" quest as well. Through speech checks, Dave gives you his keys as an item to show Mister Crowley that he is dead, when in fact he is alive. This key can be used to unlock his safe containing Ol' Painless. To avoid getting caught stealing, either use a stealth boy or tell everyone in town to vote in order to make him move out of the room to check the ballot box.
If you choose to kill Dave, you will be attacked by both of his wives (as he's a polygamist). Also note that it is possible that the other residents of the Republic of Dave may be unaware of your killing Dave and his wives, and thus letting you escape the Karma loss. Another option is to declare war on the Republic and everyone will turn hostile so you can kill them with no Karma loss.
This weapon may randomly spawn on the leader of a hunter party.

Victory Rifle - The Victory Rifle is inside a locked (Very Hard) Locker in the Abandoned Shack west of Rockbreaker's Last Gas. This will require a Lockpick skill of 100; there is also no key or trigger that will open the locker. You can take Dogmeat into the shack and ask him to find you the weapon and he will get it out of the locker for you. It might take a few goes because he might get you the wrong weapon. If you have Star Paladin Cross or Jericho as a follower, he/she may find and use the weapon for himself/herself. You will still be able to get it from him/her by trading weapons.

Reservist's Rifle - This variation of the sniper rifle is used by and drops from the Drifter in Dickerson Tabernacle Chapel.

Lincoln's Repeater - Lincoln's Repeater is located, in perfect condition, inside of a display case in the top floor of the Museum of American History offices.

The Kneecapper - Pickpocket his shotgun ammo, shoot him once, holster your weapon and pickpocket The Kneecapper once he turns friendly again. Or leave the area and come back later, once he has unequipped it. If you're lucky you can directly pickpocket it, or after picking his ammo.
When talking Ronald into venturing for Quantums on his own (Black Widow Perk required) he usually dies on the way and his corpse can be looted near or in the Nuka-Cola Plant.
Attack him with a weak weapon (so that you don't kill him), then shoot the gun from his hands. Put the weapon away and he will stop attacking you, then simply take the gun. If he picks up the gun instead of stopping, keep shooting it out of his hands until it breaks. Take the gun, then leave and stay away for 3 days. He will be friendly again.
Using the Mr. Sandman perk allows you to kill Ronald while he is sleeping and, as well as gaining good xp, Sierra Petrovita doesn't notice he's dead. This method does induce a karma loss as the mister sandman perk does affect karma by large ammounts.
Cause a follower or creature to kill him.

The Terrible Shotgun - You can kill him (no Karma effect) and get not only his gun but all his inventory, in which case you should buy as much of his repairable inventory as you can afford, have him repair everything you can afford to, then kill him to get back your caps as well as the remainder of his inventory (which will be located in his locker, for which he has the key).
You can engage him in combat, the goal being not to kill him, and just shoot it out of his hand, and picking it up before he does. Leave the Bazaar and come back after a minimum of 72 hours. This is the time it takes for an NPC or group of them to "forget" about the trouble a player might have caused. Return, and you still have a valuable business partner.
Possibly the most effective and quickest way of obtaining the shotgun (without killing Smiling Jack), pickpocket his shotgun ammunition, leave the Bazaar, save the game then reload and re-enter the Bazaar. The gun will then be an available item in his inventory and can now be pickpocketed (confirmed).
Its also possible to break the Terrible Shotgun with an aimed-shot, then put your weapon away to end the fight, at this point you've forced the gun into Jack's inventory. You can now trade for the item at no cost and have him repair it.

The Pitt

Wild Bill's Sidearm - Wild Bill's Sidearm can be found in the Steelyard, close to Wernher's Hideout, on the corpse of Wild Bill.

Perforator - It can be obtained from Everett during the quest Unsafe Working Conditions after handing in 90 Steel Ingots.

Brokensteel

Callahan's Magnum - It can be found in a hard safe within the ruins of the Citadel if you choose to destroy it while onboard the Enclave Mobile Base Crawler during the Who Dares Wins quest. Enter the ruins and find the door that leads to the Armory. The magnum is inside.
To be exact, the magnum can be found like this: Enter the Citadel, jump into the very large crater, find the only door in the crater, enter the door, walk up the stairs, take a left until you reach the wall, take another left and you will find a Hard safe and a Hard Terminal to unlock the safe in the cubical. The safe is called Callahan's Safe.
This is one of the four upsides to destroying the Citadel (The others being the Mini Nukes, Alien Power Cells, and Nuka Grenades). Be warned that all Brotherhood of Steel members will be hostile to the player thereafter. Though with the Contract Killer perk you can get ears from the Brotherhood members you kill once they become hostile.

Backwater Rifle - The Backwater Rifle is found on a shelf behind you at the end of The Velvet Curtain quest along with other weapons and ammo in the room.
The Backwater Rifle can still be obtained after completing The Velvet Curtain quest, just head down the Chinese Intelligence Bunker again and activate the electrical switch to open the sealed door.

Mothership Zeta

Paulson's Revolver - Paulson uses the revolver as his primary weapon, and can only be obtained by taking it from him. It cannot be reverse-pickpocketed; as long as Paulson is alive, he uses a non-playable version of the weapon. The player-usable weapon is only added to Paulson's inventory when he's dead and the player loots his corpse.
