Background: Israfel was born in ancient eygpt during the rule of Cleopatra. His father was a rich merchant. His mother died giving birth to his younger brother who died shortly after her. He had an older sister who had married and an older brother who would take over his fathers business. Israfel's father was not around much because he traded with outher countries. Although he was raised to have and practiced good social manners, Israfel found himself consorting with the lower classes as well as the upper classes. His pale skin, white hair, and red eyes instilled both fear and reverance among the city. The people called him a devil and a god. For his age, Israfel was a smooth talker and could impress almost anyone who was around him. One night while he was returning home from a festival he snuck out to see, he met a pale man. This man knew his name and his father. "Let's go back to your house. Your father has been looking for you." Once home, his father, who was waiting for him became irritated with him. "The boy wanted to walk me here. We met earlier this week and I told him I would be coming for a visit. We arranged a meeting place so I would have an escort." the man lied. His father bought it and Israfel sighed in relief. "You will be this man's apprentice. He is Cleopatras best scribe and you will obey him. From this day on, You are his." With those words, Israfel was given to the man. This man was not a scribe. His father had been tricked. The pale man turned Israfel into a blood drinker and introduced him to Akira, who became his mate. After centuries of being with his master and Akira, Israfel, like all young made blood drinkers, turned on his master and killed him with Akiras help. The couple stayed together for some time before they went thier seperate ways. Akira is always first in his heart. Israfel spends the rest of his days wandering from place to place. He passively searches for his lover as he goes, causing havoc in one place and mending a coven in another.
