Red-headed Stepchild was actually a good book. I was expecting the usual vampire/assassin + hot wizard/target dude = lots of smut type book. It surprised me by have a good pace, lots of action, and not a whole lot of characters jumping each other and complaining about how long its been since they last jumped somebody.
