Biography/History: Yukio, or Kyo as most call him, was celebrating his 16th birthday with a casual lazy day as home. His little sister, Yumi, gave him the bear claw necklace as a present. His family was already in tune with the spirit world, as Kyo was supposed to be training to be a shaman, but dropped out, knowing that he didn't believe in ghosts. That changed when he was killed by a hollow on the same night. Knowing he neglected his shaman for karate training, Yukio fought off the hollow, making fall a few times, but was still chased around too. This got the interest of a soul reaper, who sent Yukio to the soul society out of duty, and interest. Yukio has been in the Soul Society for 3 months, living with his grandmother, who died when his mom was born. After those 3 months, Yukio decided to become a Soul reaper, after learning alot about them.
