[[Ukoo and O'tep only. And possibly the cubs ;D]]


O'tep flicked her tail around as she looked around the den as she wandered toward it again. She had done it so many times. Wander back toward the den after a day of wandering around because Tariq was wandering around for a while, she knew that he wouldn't be home till later and she took advantage of that just like any other time and wandered back home just around the same time as the sun was setting. She knew that Ukoo would be there. She remember that Ukoo was scolding her for wandering out when they were both so close to having their cubs. But O'tep wandered out anyway.

The whole cub thing was still new to her, it was still a odd concept. Something that she wasn't a fan of. Her temper sparked more than ever, she wanted to cry for random reasons, and even though she thought she wouldn't get close to them she was starting to get attached to the cubs even though they weren't even born yet. And on top of all of that she still wasn't that sure of her relationship with Tariq, they hadn't been arguing as much and she even found herself helping out some times. But she knew one thing it couldn't be that bad right? She had food and a place to sleep...

She grumbled slightly as she got closer to the den where they stayed. Her small frame wobbling a bit as she walked. She wasn't the biggest lioness around in fact she was a little bigger than an adolescent, and right now the weight of five cubs was starting to slow her down a lot. She didn't wander that far away from the den and she was glad, her paws were already starting to ache once more. She let out a small sigh as she looked around, the sun was starting to set and the sky was a redish color. She smiled slightly before making her way in.

"Ukoo?" She called out before moving toward where she and Ukoo had been sleeping, a spot in the back of the den. Normally, just to be a butt, she would sleep in Tariq's place but since she was going to have her cubs they had a comfortable 'nest' in the back of the den. She moved in that direction not sure if Ukoo was there. She could feel a shift in her stomach. It had been doing that all day. It was odd but she just dismissed it each time, thinking it was really nothing to worry about.  

[Split Personality]

Ukoo had been in pain all night but hadn't said anything. She was a bit afraid for some reason... she wanted this to be perfect... better than her last. No rain. No fear. Not alone. She had kept her maw shut and eyes shut and hadn't moved as she felt the pains of birth tugging at her.

O'tep had left and so Ukoo was alone.. and she was starting to go into labor. She had done this before, so it was going fast. She had to wait. She trembled and shook. O'tep... come back.

She lifted her head upon hearing O'teps voice and she lifted her head from the nest and whimpered.  

[Yin-Bug]

O'tep wandered toward the back of the den. She heard her 'sister' whimper. She paused she didn't like that sound. Oh no, she didn't like that sound at all. She made a small face before moving toward the back of the den. She leaned over Ukoo, nudging her slightly. "Sister..." She murmured before she could feel some pain overwhelm her as well. She whimpered again herself then moved closer to her. She laid down across from her before looking at her sister with a hurt look on her face. "It's been hurting all dayyyyy..." She groaned before she could feel another pain go through her.

"It won't stop hurting." She grunted before looking at her belly. "I don't know whats going on Ukoo." She complained to the slightly older lioness. She didn't know what else she could say. She really didn't have any clue what was going on. all she knew was that she wanted it to stop.  

[Split Personality]

Ukoo tried to lift herself up to go to O'tep but lost her balance quickly and just lay on her side as her sister came forth. She smiled, though it was a weak one. As O'tep began to explain, Ukoo chuckled lightly. "The cubs are coming O'tep. Tariq isn't here... we can do it together!" She said, looking refreshed at this thought. She stood, making room for O'tep to lay comfortably.

They were going to do this together. It would be magic.

Ukoo felt her belly cramp and let out a hiss, as a cub came forth into the world.
Boy 1

Ukoo pulled him up to her and O'teps reach and began to clean him.

O'tep looked at the lioness very confused. Was it already that time? It had to be. She watched her friend and felt a sudden shock of fear overwhelm her once more. Was she really ready for this? She could already feel what was going. More and more pain started to fill her up. She whimpered loudly for a moment as she felt her body tense and her mind was racked with what was about to go on. She watched her sister pull up the cub closer to them and she stared. He was a cute one... Then she could feel pain rush trough her. She let out a squeak of surprise before she pushed, it was a instinct she never thought she would have.

Agirl wiggled around as O'tep moved her close to them licking her clean. She was a little surprised. The cub looked like a interesting mix. An almost perfect mix of her and Tariq... She was beautiful.  

[Split Personality]

Ukoo sat up straighter to look at the pale female that came forth into the world. She was beautiful. Ukoo smiled at her sister as she tucked her son next to her. He was lovely in her opinion. Her family back home would have been happy, they adored earthy colors. It all went back to the swamps, where they originated. "Good O'tep... you did good. It'll get easier over time."

She cleaned her little son for a moment before she felt a familiar feeling and she pushed again.

Girl 1

A little girl, earthy colored with reminants of Tariqs marks but.. so far looked more like Mom. She began to clean her and pulled her up to her brothers side. "One, Two..."  

[Yin-Bug]

O'tep had this very big hope that it was going to be all over after the first cub. She was panting slightly as she looked at her sister, she had no clue how this was so easy to her. O'tep wanted to hunt down Tariq and kill him for this pain. she sneered at his name for a moment before nodding toward her sister. "Thank you for being here." She grunted before she let out another groan of pain. Before she knew it another cub was sitting there.

The cub could have been easily confused as O'teps twin. The only difference was the darker colored fur of the female. She wanted to lick her clean but she knew it wasn't going to happen. They were tariq's cubs that was for sure. "Four." She winked at her sister. the cubs were half siblings. O'tep felt like the responsibility was shared for sure.  

[Split Personality]

Ukoo smiled at her sisters word game. She shouldn't be counting her cubs only, but her sisters cubs as well. They were to be family... one big happy family. Ukoo felt another twinge and she winced.

Oh gods. Keep Tariq away from them... only for a little while. So they could do this alone. Without him. She pushed.
Another girl came into the world. Tadah.

"F-f-f-five.  

[Yin-Bug]

O'tep was really hoping it would come to a end soon and she would be able to carry on like she used to. Then again in the back of the mind, the fact that she had to care for cubs tugged at her, she had no other choice but to start behaving even the littlest bit. She clenched her teeth as pain started to rush through her again. She pushed and before she knew it once more The first boy was laying on the ground, she lifted it up gently pulling it in front of her and cleaning it gently. This was definitely Tariq's son a exact inverse of him. "Six." She panted.  

[Split Personality]

Ukoo gazed at her sisters cub and smiled to herself as the sweat poured down her back and sides. She was starting to forget how many had been born and how many were boys.. how many girls. She chuckled at her forgetfulness and shifted, feeling a slight head ache come on. Then, her eyes glazed and in a flash she could see... she could tell. This coming cub and the pale sister... were seers. Like her.

She coughed, preparing for another cub. And soon, the boy was born.

Ding dong

"Umm. Uh... h-h-how many was that?"  

[Yin-Bug]

O'tep looked at her sister before looking at the cub and smiling a bit. "S-seven." she flashed a grin at her before her grin turned into a frown as she could feel a little more pain take over. She let out a squak then another cub was there. Itwas a really cute girl. She smiled and started to clean it. "I hope it's almost over." she murmured. "Eight."  

[Split Personality]

Ukoo nodded and smiled. So many cubs for Tariq. She hoped he would be pleased by all the boys... an proud of the girls. They would be perfect Banu's... she would see to it. She would see to that.

She smiled. "Nine.. nine is coming..." She flexed and pushed and before she knew it, another boy was born

He and the olive brother were almost alike. She was pleased...

As O'tep was looking at all of the cubs. She was pretty much thinking the same thing. She was really hoping that Tariq would be proud of the cubs. She remembed her sister saying that she was only going to have five cubs. She was starting to get very happy knowning that the last harsh feeling was the last cub of course this one was going to give her a hard time. The last cub was going to give her a hard time. She gruntted before pushing as hard as she could Her last boy was born. "Come on Ukoo you don't have much further to go." She murmured as she started to nudge her own cubs to feed as eh watched her sister hoping that she would be done soon too.

Finnaly with one last push and moan, the last cub was brought into the world. xxx. Ukoo was so happy. She hadn't been this happy since she was back with the Mwana. With her cubs. She sighed, flopping down after cleaning the last girl and shifting comfortably in the dried grass and leaf bed.

"O'tep... That is all of them..."

O'tep looked at her sister before pulling her last birthed cub toward herself to clean, moving the others toward her stomach so they can feed. She grunted slightly as she cleaned the little cub the looked up at her sister. "No turning back now." She sighed slightly then nudged her sister and sighed slightly before closing her eyes. "I'm so tired." She grunted once more nudging the last cub toward their sibligns and laying her head on her paws.
