In a time when the Empire has been taken over by a new Sith Lord, the galaxy is in a constant state of turmoil. Between Sith, Imperial, and Republican forces, there's a war to be won. And still, there is time for the Jedi to befall persecution and attack, their only allies being the now shunned Vong.

In all the commotion, there is always the neutral parties, vying for a meager existence while superpowers duke it out all around them. A bunch of credits lie in store for those who can rob, kidnap, and pirate the local spaceways, and protect, return, and escort those who they just pilfered from. In the bounty business, business is booming.

Atop all this commotion, the guilds, cartels, and other syndicates all vie for a peace of the pie. Some individuals are prolifically excellent, while others band together to make the job easier. Good or evil, all the world's choices bow before the almighty credit. It's a dirty business, but someone's got to do it.

Personally, if I had my absolute choice, it's between 1 and 2, depending on how much action or rping I want to do. Especially in the overly tasty legacy era.


But until everyone gives a sampler set for what they want, i'm not going to really get much into it all.

I'm sorry Des... I'm kind of tired of the Mandalorian motif in RPs. Cale, Nelo, and I have been playing the Mandalorian Wars off the internet, so I'm a bit tired of it.

Edit: God I love the rules for Mass-Drivers and Rail-guns in Saga Edition. Someday I need to make a cannon vogel for shits and giggles!

Des... do you know what a cannon vogel is?

It's a fighter or bomber that carries an anti-tank gun. The germans hung two 37mm cannons off the Stuka in the late war, other planes feature 50mm and even 75mm automatic cannons for use against tanks.

According to saga edition rules I can hang a rail cannon like the one used by the AT-TE off any vehicle gargantuan sized or larger. Which means I can have a starfighter with a gun capable of doing 5d10x5 damage, equal to a medium turbolaser. Sweet...

Yes. I was aware, but the chances of you getting to do that is unlikely. Anyway, back to the rp development.

Because no-one seems to be interested in 1a, lets try out this Merc/Hunter crew in Legacy.

(Just to put it out there.)

Simple plotline: A Squad of Mandalorian Protectors begin to uncover conspiracies and plots by the Zann Consortium, and become bent on revenge and extermination of their actions on Mandalorian soil.

Timeframe: 4 ABY

Current character roles possibly need filling: Squad Leader, Heavy Weapons, Tech Specialist(Pilot), Medic, etc.

Starting level: 5-7

Starting Vehicle: AIAT/i Gunship, 4 Speeder Bikes,

Plotline (detailed): In the days prior to Imperial Slavetrade upon the planet, the Zann Consortium has taken to random acts of terrorism and theft on the planet, being feared by the already run-down populace. A group of Protectors take it upon themselves to resist and put a stop to it all. During a event of malice in a local village, far removed from any of the major cities, the squad kills and captures a member of the Consortium, and forces them to spill about its activities on the planet. From there they conduct raids on known and frequented places of trade for the Syndicate and capture key individuals for information as they move up the totem pole, but not without resistance.

If I was a mandalorian protector during that era I'd be more focused on kicking the Empire off Mandalore than worry about the Zann Consortium.

Mandalore is occupied by the Galactic Empire through most of the Galactic Civil War and is used as a slave exchange point by the Empire. In fact I think the Mandalorian willingness to supply ships and weapons to Zann stems partly from an effort to use him to help remove the empire from their space. They're allies.

Edit: 4/6 ABY? So... We're talking post Endor?

At that point, the Empire has been to some degree. Suprema is dead, and the City of Bone is destroyed. There isn't much info on the planet around this time besides. A few years ago, the Consortium kidnapped a high ranking officer of the planet. So I'd blame Zann for not being a friendly neighbor.

Why did you simplify and MMO-erize the character roles?

Because I fill things out in accordance of how they make sense to me, and the projected type of gameplay. The second post is mainly for me to know what we have agreed upon and said yay to. Be thankful I didn't put "leader, rifleman, demoman, scout," etcetera.

I could have marked it up more, but I figured a couple edits here and there would get the point across. And basically everything from "starting level" down is basically filled in by me as soon as everything above it's completed.
