Cosplay picnics are where cosplayers gather in a park and hang out. What is at a Cosplay Picnic varies from picnic to picnic, but normally there are games, competitions, and vendors. Like you would see at conventions and other various cosplay gatherings.

Date: November 29, 2009

Time: Start time is going to be 8:30am, ending around 6pm after the competition

Location: Lafreniere Park in Jefferson Parish! New Orleans, LA

Cost: Free! Unless you buy snacks and drinks, those you have to pay for.

There will be anime swaping, a cosplay competition, Cosplay chess (hopefully) and other various games.

So bring your picnic baskets and blankets and come in cosplay for an enjoyable time. ^-^

Not to be rude, but...Just wondering but, Whats the dif between gatherings and picnics?...plus just to make things simpler...cant we just add games, competitions, and vendors to the gatherings?

Well for one a gathering can be anywhere, picnics are held at parks, and I'm not sure what you mean by "plus just to make things simpler...cant we just add games, competitions, and vendors to the gatherings?"
