Anyone else have their baby stolen?!

I threw a huge birthday party for my husband in the sims, and I think there were like, 15 guests there. I saw someone was in the nursery but whatever, didn't really care since the baby didn't need anything but attention, and the girl was obviously doing it for me.

SHE TOOK MY BABY! She left in the taxi holding my baby! The baby never came back, and the motives went all the way down until I went to the girl's house in the neighborhood trying to find the baby and saw nothing.

Literally, like, a day later my sim automatically leaves her house and goes to this park area and picks up her baby who was laying IN THE PARK!

Thankfully she came in time to save the baby from being taken away (with one warning).

It was really wierd and I was wondering if this has happend to anyone else? Or is this a glitch of some sort? I'd rather not be chasing any more babies down everytime I throw a party...

I havent had a baby stolen on the Sims 3. I hardly play it.

I know it happens with teddy bears..but no, I've never saw it happen with children.

WOW! i can't believe that, i mean i probably could totally use someone stealing my first babies.. b/c i had triplets and omg it was nuts in my house- i just kept having to hire the babysitter over and over again

Then when they was about to turn 1.. my freaking mother sim went on strike she was so exhausted... she REFUSED to take care of her kids.. she kept trying to leave the house to go to the park or something.. i was like omg just get these things raised already!!

I have triplets on the sims and some lady tried to steal my baby when they were having their birthday party. She just walked outside and was about to leave, but I took the baby away from her.
Geez, crazy sims. lol

My male sims got another sim in town knocked up. One night he went to visit, and was holding the baby. He walked outside with it, and couldn't get back inside cause it was too late, but everytime I tried to get him home, he'd leave the baby on the street. xD ♥

I laughed so hard I nearly exploded! lol. I've only had my baby taken away in Sims 1, on the PS2, and that was by the Child Services. But not on PC o.o
