Yard work!

I just helped out my parents do some yard work around the house. Mainly cutting grass, raking leaves (which there was so much of thanks to those trees.), trimming grass edge, and using the leaf blower for the finishing job. Still in the end the place looked really nice and clean. ^_^

Anyone else have lots of fall leaves?
Any house chores that you had to do today?
Does anyone like to do chores?

o_o! I just realized that some people DO like cleaning. For me, I really don't like it. But I do, do my chores and like to keep things neat and organized. But I have my messy moments like my room for example tends to get messy quite often. But when I'm ready to clean I plug my ears (with music) and get to work and really make it neat and shinny.

I do enjoy cleaning....tis a form of stress relief for me.

As for yard work I don't really do any of that....especailly since I live on campus. But when I am home I would water the plants, pick up sticks, and a few other tasks. Then in the winter I shovel snow which I enjoy.

How is it like in a dorm? Is it like an apartment and you all have your own room? Or just one big room? ^_^

It's not really like an an apartment because you have to share a bathroom with the floor. Dorms, single or double, are just a room with enough living space usually. I however am fortunate enough to have a single room in a building that was once offices so I have a nice sized room for one person (and it has carpet which a majority of dorms here don't have).

My friend lives in an apartment that has a livingroom /kitchen which leads into the bedroom and theres a small bathroom attached to the bedroom.

As for chores, I do the dishes . . . which I HATE!
But I like cleaning other things . . . just not dishes.

I love washing the dishes.....means I get to play with water.

When I visit my friend at her apartment she sometimes has to chase me away from the sink.

But I realized that I don't mind it soooo much if I listen to music while doing it. (Thankfully mom does it all the time so I don't really need to anymore but back when I was going to HS and would come home earlier than anyone in the house I was expected to do those kinds of chores.

^_^ I went to NY just this weekend with my mom to do some shopping. And we know the store owners (the ones we went to) and I kept hearing the same thing about Phillies vs Yankees. XD Being from PA I heard we lost.
Awe!! That must have stunk. sad Were you there for long?
