there r so many good mangas that people have not read and it's sad because they get overshadowed by the majorly popular mangas.

hmmm.....well i have to agree with both of you. i read buso renkin on occasion and i love it. kinda reminds me of bleach. the whole mystic society, girl comnes in and gives normal guy with potential powers. and then they go off on adventures. lol

on the real point, i like zatch bell. dont know how popular that exactly is but who knows....

hmm.... overshadowed?

id say BECK:Mongolian Chop Squad, After School Nightmare, Flame of Recca, and Eyeshield 21 are pretty overshadowed. but then again, all of them except Eyeshield 21 are kinda explicit. but i still recommend them!

There are alot of good mangas that you don't hear of much, personaly I love:
-Spiral: Suiri No Kizuna
-The Vanishment of Yuki-chan Nagato (a spinoff of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya)
-Gunslinger Girl (somewhat popular but I don't hear much about it)
-Highschool of the Dead (a rather *ahem* explicit manga NSFW) sweatdrop

i personaly own all of hana-kimi volumes and have read chrimson hero and own all pixi pop, wich was a nice doki doki manga (cutsy manga not the brand) i think if you expose mainstreamers to a good not so known manga they will start to be adventuresume with their manga selection ^.^

I also love romance ^^ Lovely★Complex is an amazing manga. I'm also wanting to read Black Bird, Magic Touch, Skip-Beat, Wanted and Otoman. I've heard they are all good so I'll be checking those out soon X3
