[PRP - East] So...what's the plan? (Family RP)

"MOTHER! FATHER! Wake-y time now, pleeeeease?!" Ping was pressing her forepaws hard against her father's shoulder as she leaned up to latch her teeth onto his ear. Somehow it seemed like they were always sleeping. Didn't they get bored sleeping? She knew she did! Her young mind wanted to learn and since her parents were smart, they should spend less time dreaming and more time teaching!

"Come onnnnn." She whined, shoving her forepaws up against her father's face, unaware that her little claws were pressing against his skin.

Bai Bo's eyes snapped open and for a moment anger contorted his face. Yet as quickly as the snarl came, it faded again. This wasn't an intruder or an irritating sibling. It was his daughter, and though she was a pain at times, he didn't want to ever lose his temper with her - though she certainly deserved it for waking him up!

His eyes rolled to see where his mate was.

Was it really morning already?

"DAD, COME ON ALREADY!" Hiari shouted, teeth latched around his father's tail as he tugged fairly hard. Hey, his Dad was amazing! His Dad didn't feel pain - he was super-lion! So of course he wouldn't be affected by a slightly harder than intended tug of the tail! Pfft.

Zhen Shì had been woken by his sister as soon as the sun had risen. But unlike most times, when he angrily pawed her away and started a fight, he'd decided to team up. His parents were never awake. They were always sleeping or working, and he was bord of it. He wanted to have some fun! And he was going to make sure it happened today! "Daddy, I wanna play! And Ping's too girly!"

Kumbuka, unlike her mate, didn't see anything wrong with reprimanding her children. She was a good mother - she praised them when they deserved it, and loved them dearly. But they had to know when they were in the wrong, and they certainly had to learnt that they could not wake them up like this! Blinking her eyes open drearily, her upper lip curled into a silent snarl as she pushed herself up, turning to her children and lashing out at the nearest one - Ping - attempting to swat her. It was a gently motion, not meant to cause great harm, and her claws were carefully sheathed.

"Ping! Zhen Shì! You do not wake your father and I in such a manner!"

The siblings, though sometimes seen squabbling, were also quite a fiersome little team when they wanted to be. Ping was glad that she had her brother on her side, helping her with this. It was only right that the adults woke up and did something fun.

And then a paw swept down to knock her from her place and she tipped backwards onto the floor of the den.

"Oof!" After a stunned moment she righted herself and put on the best pout she could muster, shooting a look at her mother - who didn't look or sound very pleased.

She scuffed a paw. "Sorrryyy..." But she didn't really sound like she meant it. A smile crossed her maw as she saw her brother still had hold of their father's tail and she sidled over slowly to join him.

In the same moment, Bai Bo yanked his tail free from little paws and pulled himself upright, curling it tightly around his hind legs. He had been a moody lion in youth and the moody look on his face mirrored that of his time as a cub.

"Listen to your mother." He added. "The sun is barely up. You know the rules." He leaned in to groom his mate behind her ear, almost to distract himself from the fact that he was now well and truly awake.
