Number 3 was my favorite. I believe that most of these games had such bad voice acting because they were all low budget to begin with, or translations that were given a low budget. Without a good budget studios usually resort to using the game designers as the voice actors, and, as you can see, sometimes that leads to terrible results.

LOL! I love game #3; Dr. Light sounds like Elmer Fudd. I wonder why Altered Beast didn't make it into the list; Zeus' voice was like Elmer Fudd, too. rofl

........... I'm not really wholly surprised at how bad some of these just plain sucked, as this tends to happen regardless what age of gaming you play that uses voice-work. gonk

The second game, Shenmue II, is really brilliant, and the XBOX port was said to have been kinda badly done. ^^;

Star Ocean is great too, shame how such great games can be so poorly voice acted. D:
