WOO HOOO!
Your Sim just made it into University! Hopefully, they can make it through 4 years of smelly roommates, annoying mascots, dirty toilets, and homework, homework, homework.
Welcome! Before we get started completely, let's go through some locations that will be talked about in this tutorial. First, the colleges are..
Academie Le Tour
La Fiesta Tech and
Sim State Academy

Now, the lots

Dorms - When you first get into college, it is the best choice to go get a dorm room. There are many choices in each college. Once your taxi arrives, look for a dorm room to claim. When you find one , click on the door and choose Claim Dorm.

Residence - Once your Sims put together enough money, they can choose to move into a normal house .They'll have to pay bills, but it's better than the smelly dorms that they used to live in.

Greek House - Sims can rush a sorority or fraternity by meeting a member of the house they want to join or by calling the desired house they want to join or by calling the desired house on the phone. Greek Houses are not offered on the Academie Le Tour-style campus.

Now, on to the tutorial.

Keeping up the Grades and Dorm Life

So, after your Sims move in to their new dorm, it's time to use the computer to claim their major. Sims can change their major during their Freshman and Sophomore Years. Once that is done, check in their jobs section to see when class is. Why not do something to get those grades up while you wait? Click on a bookcase and select College > Study .
You can also do assignments by clicking on a Sim and selecting College > Do Assignment.
Something your Sim can start on when they're in a good mood is a Term Paper. Your Sims can write their term paper by selecting the computer and choosing College > Write Term Paper.
You don't have to write a term paper, but it is a very good way to get grades up, which are shown in the jobs bar.
You will get a notification when your Sim must go to class. Going to class increases your school performance, so It's best to go to class.

If you live in a dorm, you get a lovely cafeteria lady who is old and fat. She cooks breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all day, except she goes home at night and comes back early in the morning. What you expect from her..

Breakfast

Pancakes
Omelets, if your lucky

Lunch and Dinner

Mac and Cheese. She burns it sometimes, so just pretend it's chili. :]

Now, let's talk a little more about homework. You can help your friends with theirs when they leave it lying around, or you can tutor them for some money. Of course, if your annoyed by how they leave out all their homework lying around in the kitchen, you can just do it in your free time. They like to start their homework, stop doing it, leave it there, and start new homework. So tons of blue homework lies around most of the time.

Tests

Every year, there are 2 exams. One in the middle of the year, one at the end. So, you get 8 exams in all, which is a pain. On the day of the exam, a couple hours before you go, make sure your Sim is in a good mood. Take a shower, get a snack, etc. If you want their grades to be up, have a little last minute study session. When it's time to go, don't hesitate. Then wait a couple hours before they come back. You will get a notification, telling them their grade. Hopefully, they'll have a good one.

When your Sim is especially good, you receive some money, so theirs another reason to study hard!
