Makolo couldn't help but stare at the lands before him. His father had told him how to get there, how to enter so he could meet Li's side of the family. But his father had never told him how GORGEOUS the lands were! It was almost as beautiful as the ocean and beaches he knew so well from his cubhood. This was the land where his supposed large extended family was...and he practically skipped as he looked for someone who might know where he could find a member of Tisha or Asikari's lines.

Having lived all of his life in the Kusini'Mwezi lands and never left, the innate beauty of the place, while not always lost on him, was customarily overlooked. To Nyiju, it was home; the place were his mother's family had lived and breathed for generations, and there wasn't really anything more wonderful than that.

The young lion, who was lazy and didn't like to do much of anything outside of sleeping and eating, was a little on the heavy side, but unconcerned. For him, life was good. Calm, silently confidend; he loved his mother and his father, and was proud of his heritage.

Makolo wouldn't have to go very far to find what he was looking for.

After spotting an unfamiliar lion on the horizon Nyiju, who occasionally felt compelled to get off his a** and make himself useful for the good of his pride, or simple amusement, stood up from the place he'd been resting. He moved towards Makolo at a slow, unthreatening pace, intending to greet him with a generally inviting smile on his face.

Makolo grinned when he saw the dark lion approaching. He stopped and sat, grin not fading from his face. "Good day, sir! I was told I have family here, so I came to visit!" Perhaps not the BRIGHTEST of phrases to say, but it was honest. Even if it sounded a little doofy.
