Japanese~definitely. The voices get all screwed up in the English dubs. Plus they cut out all the good parts... crying

Japanese for sure! Especially after seeing the first two seasons uncut! I saw the first two cut, but as soon as I saw the uncut versions, I liked the uncut much better! *wants to get rid of English DVD's, but can't find anyone who will buy them*

Japanese I would have to say... not only because its a beautiful language but also because in the dubbing they MOST the time translate it all wrong =.=

Both the English and Japanese versions are good, I personally like the Japanese version better because the subtitles are closer to what is actually being said than that of what the English version of Sailor Moon is. 3nodding

Yes. It. IS. Jap=WWII Soldier slang to DEGRADE the Japanese. N****r = Colonial slang to DEGRADE the black slaves. It is degrading slang. We have native Japanese people on Gaia (I've met three who live in Okinawa) who really do not need to see that. To answer the question of topic: I prefer the subbing, but I like the dub music when Mamoru dies in Usagi's arms. It's better than the Japanese music chosen for that moment. Fits the mood perfectly and makes you cry.

I prefer the Japanese version as well, even if you don't count the editting in the English version and just look at the dubbing.

The Japanese is definatly better. The dub cut out all the good parts. Now, I'm not against anime dubs as an idea, but it was carried out poorly on Sailor Moon. If they didn't mess up the script, I would be fine with watching a dub. But as it is, the dub aimed the show at 4-8 year old girls, in Japan it was a teen/adult show.

Japanese only because it's unedited. I gots no problem in saying ******, *****, whatever. It's just a word, and I'll call whoever I want that.
