Ban'ma still couldn't believe her luck.
She'd found him again. Or rather, he'd found her. Not that she made it terribly hard. Ban'ma hadn't left the watering hole since that day. What if he came through and missed her?
For the longest time she was quiet so she could fully absorb the beauty of this land. It wasn't like the lush foliage that the Unity Walkers called home, but it was just as nice. Maybe more so. The caucassian lioness craned her neck high to see a group of lionesses conversing under a shady tree. Her mane flopped over her right eye.
"There's alot of females here." She stated bluntly as she padded beside Achal. Excited as she was, her tail hung low. What if her family didn't like her? "And even more cubs. It's a swarm of nippers!" Her term for those who still suckled.

 Achal had not had to travel far to find the next lovely lady to add to his harem. It was his luck that he'd met Ban'ma again right where they last parted. It seemed as though for Achal gathering a harem had been almost effortless and the females in it complemented him and each other very well. They were very different, but there was something he loved about each of them.
He looked back to Ban'ma who seemed to be taking in the sights. He smiled bright at her. The last time they'd met he'd enjoyed her company very much. He really hadn't wanted to part ways and sorely hoped they would meet again some day. He found himself feeling very fortunate.
When Ban'ma spoke he laughed lightly, the words were blunt and true and it made Achal smile. Ban'ma would fit in fine.
"Yes, currently most harems have 3 females or banu in them. Though our leader the Sultan has five and the Viziers have four each. Recently many of the banu have been having cubs. My harems currently has 5, three little girls and 2 boys. You will be the third and final banu in my harem, unless I rise in rank. You will have your paws busy with the five of them and very soon we may have more. Though that is unclear right now."
Achal moved forward giving a nod to the females beneath the tree and heading toward the heart of the pride, the lake.

Ban'ma lowered her head sheepishly in a shrug, grinning with a blush on her cheeks.
The numbers as a shock to her. Her eyes widened, but looking at his face, she knew it was true. "Punishment m-must be pretty strict then, huh? To keep all the...ba-nu in line." She tripped over the word. It was new, like the rest of the information pouring into her head and she wasn't the sharpest tack. It would take time. "You have five cubs? Wow. Wow." Ban'ma's eyes shined. Cubs were the truly of Gods and her prayers were being answered. She could be a mother, a real mother!
"Is there an initiation process I have to go through or do I just jump in?" Ban'ma gave pause to the females before nodding nervously and carrying on. "I mean, I'm...Well, I.." Dark paws dug into the ground as she scrunched up her eyes and braighed like a horse. "I'm nervous. Whats going to happen to me when I flub up?"

Achal smiled at Ban'ma, he light cheeks showing an adorable blush.
He looked up when she spoke a punishment and thought for a moment on the subject, however his thought we're pushed away by Ban'ma's excitement about his cubs. He grinned lightly, "Yes, five cubs. Who I am certain at least one of will be calling you mama very shortly."
He thought to his rather hyper little son and smiled, he was sure if anyone could keep up with him it was Ban'ma. She handled being stuck in a tree fairly well.
Achal looked to Ban'ma again as she asked another question. He smiled for it was an easy one to answer. "You should meet the sultan, but other that you are a part of my harem and a part of the pride. You will meet Tsubame and Maua, my other banu and my cubs once we reach the den, but first we will look for the sultan."
At Ban'ma second question Achal sighed lightly. "Do not worry. You don't need to be nervous. I won't punish you for messing up a little. Mistakes happen. Punishments are decided by the pad whom you belong to. You are my banu, so it is my say what happens to you. The only things I do not tolerate is a allowing another male to touch you, that is the same for all males harems. Second, mistreating cub, not to be confused with discipline. Third, attempting to steal a cub. These things will get you labeled as Kajira and traded away to another male, who may not be as forgiving as I."
Achal smiled trying to lighten the mood. "Lucky I have never seen these things happen and I am sure they are things you need not even worry about."

Ban'ma thought about it and smiled. Given the pros and cons about joining she decided it was well worth it to be a mother. If only in name with a family to call her own.
She straighted her walk to a semi-graceful saunter. Her lack of claws made balancing more a challenge than she ever thought, but experience taught her well. Then she stumbled. "The sultan? But isn't he the King?" She was honored, but so soon? She couldn't even walk straight! Ban'ma gulped, though she felt more at ease. "Check. I came here for you, not someone else so that shouldn't be a problem and the other two are no brainers. "
What she needed was a drink. Her sharp eyes scanned the surroundings and landed on the lake. Here was the chance to show Achal what she learned from her previous lesson on grace. She skipped lightly ahead of him to the waters edge where she craned her neck for a sip. This time she didn't shove her whole face in it. An improvement.

Achal watched Ban'ma intently. He did not no what it was about her that made him watch her so. She was not lacking grace, but grace was not one of her main qualities either. She almost laughed slightly as she falter in her flirtatious walk. He nodded to her.
"Yes, he is the king of our pride. Every new member must meet him. That is the way it works. He will welcome you in, nothing to fear."
He nodded again as she agreed to his terms, not that they were terribly unreasonable. They were mostly logical, he was certain he did not realize how serious he was about the third though. He figured it mattered not and Ban'ma would make a great addition to the family.
She moved forward headed for the lake before Achal really noticed and he looked up to see her drinking. He smiled remember there first encounter fondly and remembering that she drank rather eagerly and now it seemed as though she followed his lead and drank much more like a proper banu. He laughed, she would learn quickly.
He walk up beside her giving her a small nuzzle before lower his head to drink right beside her. Life here was so wonderful, he wished he could share it with his sisters and his little daughter.

Despite his calm assurances, Ban'ma was nervous. What if he found fault in her? She wasn't like alot of women here and that put her on edge. They exalted seductive power and she couldn't sit still for three minutes.
The caucassian lioness lifted her head and smiled, brushing back against him with a nuzzle of her own. Even after she had drunk her fill she kept her paws in the cool water. Travel had become easier since the days of her pride's disperse, but she still felt the strain. Ban'ma flopped down into the water with a splash!, giving way to laughter that turned into a sigh of pleasure. "This feels wonderful. C'mon, give it a try."

A not so distant splash caught the attention of the sultan and he lifted his muzzle from the cool lake to glance over. A smile quickly lit his features as his eyes caught sight of Pad Achal, the male was such a pleasant addition to the pride offering support and advice to other Pads and filling out the pride with new cubs.
His gaze fell on a female by him, obviously the cause of the splash, but she wasn't a familiar banu to him? Wanting to keep ontop of each member of the pride he quickly gave a little shake and headed over. Had Achal managed to find another lovely banu to complete his harem?

Achal laughed lightly when Ban'ma splashed down in the water. He sighed, loving the spunk she would add to his growing family. She was such a wonderful addition and perfectly suited to him.
Achal grinned at her and plopped right down beside her causing splash of his own. He was showing her that he likes her the way she was and that she need not change. Achal gave her a nuzzle.
"Yes, I must admit, this is very refreshing."
He looked across the water and his gaze caught sight of the sultan seemingly coming around to greet them. He remained relaxed and enjoyed Ban'ma's company while he waited for the Sultan to reach them.

Ban'ma giggled and opened her jaws to fill them full of water when the splash hit. Her eyes narrowed mischiveously. When he looked away she was going to- NOW! Ban'ma shot a jet of water at the back of Achal's head. "Got'cha! Haha, lazy bo- Eep."
The lioness sucked her tongue back into her mouth. She pertly looked away, avoiding eye contact with the new male and Achal in one swoop before laying her head down on his back.

Aali chuckled when he saw the splashing and heard the soft banter, but he shook his head softly as the female paused and silenced. He looked at Achal and smiled, "Don't let me interrupt the fun, I was just curious to meet your new...?"
She certainly didn't look like a kajira, and Achal already seemed to have chosen a beybanu, so this had to be another banu.

Achal started to turn back to Ban'ma as the back of his mane was soaked by water, but she quiet and laid her head down. He turned back to the Sultan, who was now upon them.
"Hello Sultan Aali," he said giving a respectful nod to him.
He looked to Ban'ma at Aali's questioning statement and smiled happily. "I have just returned from a short journey and with me I bring back my newest Banu Ban'ma."
Achal gave her a small nuzzle, "We met once before in my previous travel and it turns out she was still in the same place where we'd last met."

Ban'ma rose up slowly with a nervous smile. "Hello," she said softly. When Achal looked at her his smile washed away her worries. The Sultan wasn't someone to be feared, she could tell. The king of her old pride would never meet face to face with a new member. That alone made her respect him.
She flopped her soggy mane over her right eye. "I didn't have the heart to leave. I knew where I belonged and thats right here, with my Pad."

"Ah, how lucky! Achal she's very beautiful, I'm glad you found her." He turned then and smiled at Ban'ma. "Welcome to the pride, I'm glad you already feel you belong, once your better settled you should return to the lake, many banu often gather here with the cubs."
He turned back to Achal and smirked flicking his paw in a small splash towards the pad. "You've done the pride well Achal, I'll leave you to relax, settle in your lovely banu and then perhaps we can have a talk later." He stood and moved away from the water with a soft chuckle still amused at the play. He ought to bring his cubs down more often to the lake and enjoy some time playing with them as well, they grew so fast. With that he turned and headed back to his den eager to spend some time with his family.

Achal rose and grinned as the sultan congratulated him and complimented Ban'ma. He felt very proud that he was able to gain a nice sized harem in such a short time, cubs as well. He was throughly enjoying life in his new pride.
"Thank you very much Sultan Aali. I am glad to have found her too."
He watched as the Aali conversed with Ban'ma relieved that her introduction had gone so well. When the Aali turned back him splashing him Achal laughed. It was nice to be able to be so relaxed around the leader of their pride and for him to be so relaxed around them.
"See you around," he said to Aali as he walked off then turned back to Ban'ma. "How about we head to the den now, I'm sure the other's would love to meet you."
