I am SICK of these ******** lies What's your position on toys like the Robodog, or Zhu-Zhu pets, or any other of those toys that move on their own without the kids having to do anything but sit back and watch?
I think if you are willing to buy spectator toys like these for your children, you are a ******** DEADBEAT.
I have stories... Believe me. I work at Wal-mart, and I have ssssssstooooorrrrrriiieeeeesssss. In my ******** cake!!

Not paticularly familiar with either of those, though if I'm right the robodog comes with a remote for the kid to control it with? If so then the toy range can be broadened to RC cars and like predecessors and even make the jump to video games.
I'm not entirely opposed to parents supplying their kids with these types of toys, though it would seem some parents buy them just to keep the child sedated and quiet I.E. keeping the child occupied so the parent doesnt have to deal with them.

Isn't the Zhuzhu pet the hamster wanna-be? I saw the commercial and laughed so hard. In the jingle they say something like "All the fun of a hamster without the mess!" Hamsters don't make that much mess. At least mine doesn't. Then again, he's litterbox trained. (Yes, you can potty-train a hamster)
Whatever happened to buying your child a real hamster? Srsly- they aren't that hard to keep happy and they aren't that expensive. Small pets that are easy to maintain teach responsibility and empathy. A zhuzhu pet teaches your child impatience. They can play with it when they want and just throw it in the toybox when done. Like the jingle says, no mess! (and no work)
Butttt I find the zhuzhu pets cute stare I hate to say it but I want one.
I want to hear stories of Wally World!

I brought a snake I found in the river one day to my friends house... then lost it. >.>' Back then I wondered why her mother hated me so much... and now I now! LOL! True story! X3

1.) the worst toy to buy children in my opinion is the obvious bebe gun cause then they will just go around shooting people and things and when they get older might just be stupid enough to believe they can shoot someone with a real gun and get away with it
2.)i love dora but do u really wanna ur kidd running around trying to go on "adventures" screaming COME ON LETS GET TO IT! I KNOW THAT WE CAN DO IT!......my kid better not.
3.) my final bad toy:tamagotchi!!! those things are too much work and before you know it...all u see is ur kiddd sitting around screaming AHH UR HUNGRY AND AHHH UR UPSET!!.......no no i know from experience [recent] how addictive those are.

Zhu zhu pets are the easy way to give into a child's "I want to have a pet rodent phase" without the worry of them killing it.

Zhu Zhu pets I have no qualm with it's their offshoots that Kung Zhu that I have issues with. It seems like the type of toy that would encourage kids to try pitting real hamsters in a death match.

I can't say I have a problem with parents buying their kids these toys. For one thing, some kids do want these toys. My son wanted Mickey Mouse's magical train. Which puts down and picks up it's own tracks, there isn't much interaction there. Just because parents buy certain toys for kids doesn't make them bad parents. A bad parent is one who does not take any part in the child's life at all.
