I was on Youtube the other day, watching one of my favorite videos (an amv about Gaara from the anime Naruto; the song was Time of Dying), and I saw a comment this guy had written. I had seen it before, but I had ignored it. However, as I was reading his comment, I became more and more outraged. Here is what he said:

Quote:
This AMV Sucked. Like countless other Gaara/Emo Song AMV's. lrn2 make gd amv or origunal wun u noob

My response:

Quote:
"Learn to make good amv or original one, you noob." <-- *corrected*

Learn to not spell like an illiterate jerk. Please.

And just because something's already been done doesn't mean it can't or shouldn't be done again. If you think with that mentality, nothing will ever improve.

I thought I was quite civil, not to mention kind; after all, I corrected his spelling (if not his grammar) so that others could read it. He replied with this:

Quote:
Uh. I don't think that correction was necassary, you dumb grammar nazi. ALZO. I DO BLEVE DT I STATUD DAT DA AMV SHUD BE "GUD" OR ORIGINAL. If it's an AMV thats done a lot, AND SUCKS in quality, then it's better to come up with something original ;/ Then again. For all of the fangirls/furfags out thar, I am sure dat all of deez flooded amvz are appeling cuz dey lax da assholeishnusss, ju noobcaek.

For everyone else whose eyes are burning, I will translate.

Quote:
Uh. I don't think that correction was necessary, you dumb grammar nazi. Also, I do believe that I stated that the amv should be "good" or original. If it's an amv that's done a lot, and sucks in quality, then it's better to come up with something original. Then again, for all the fangirls/furfags (not sure what a "furfag" is supposed to be...) out there, I am sure that all of these flooded amvs are appealing because they lack the a*****e-ish-ness, (what the hell does that even mean?) you noob-cake.

Does anyone else think that this is really terrible? I mean, in both posts he has shown that he can spell correctly and use correct grammar; he simply chooses not to. It took me a minute to figure out what the hell he was trying to say in the second one, simply because of the unnecessary capital letters. Gir. Plus, he was criticizing a decent video. He never even said what he didn't like!

God damn it! I hate the idiots who abuse Youtube's commenting feature with their cruel posts and nonexistent grammar and spelling!

Well...that was my rant. u_u

Wow.... aside from the grammar, spelling and what-not; I'm disgusted personally about the remarks he made.

And Youtube's allegedly known for it's motto "Broadcast Yourself", whether it be work, short films, personal things, etc.

And this is also another reminder of what will happen when I am putting up this New Year's Eve/Jan 1st- my first video tutorial on Gaiaonline profiles (and yes, I will be speaking in it, and it will be spelled out neat and all; unless there's a character limit but aside from the point) just... wow.

That's why I avoid commenting completely. Someone accused me of not caring about the health care debate because they had checked my profile and accused me of being brainwashed by anime. -.-

Furfag=derogatory term for membrs of the furry community, often refering to the cornicopia of fetishes that underly it's pornographic side.

Not only does he choose to be illiterate, but he chooses to be a bigot to both furries and homosexuals in one fell swoop enbodied by a slur designed to target one group while co-opting a slur ment for another....It's wrong on so many levels...

I believe that his/her/it's (Whatever...) comments were rude and completely unnecessary and excuse me for saying this but, you were kind of fanning the flames of his/her/it's rage.

I personally believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I try not to let mine cause me to bark at others about theirs. But when they decide to bark at me, then I get a little annoyed and will most likely start arguing my own point. (This probably makes no sense sweatdrop )

The way I see it, you were kind of in the wrong by arguing with his opinion without him belittling your own. However, he/she/it was in the wrong by being both illiterate and being a slight bigot toward you. So...I don't know... I'll side with you either way.

(Sorry if I angered you, I'm fairly annoyed with my home life at the moment)
