hello :3 i needs a fursuit

Hello there. I was wondering if anybody has any ideas as to where I can get a fursuit and how much one costs.

Depends on what you want. Fursuit prices are generally dependent on:
>Do you want a full or partial?
>What do you want the suit to do? (Moving jaw, follow me eyes, etc)
>What do you want it made of?
>How complicated is the character?
Etc.

Also depends on the artist, as they all charge different amounts. Which artist you choose depends on what you want in the suit as everyone has talents in different areas.

well, i was looking for a full body, nothing special (like you said the eyes and jaw and stuff). im just looking for a pure white husky so not really that complicated

I've been looking into making suits as well. What's helped me immensely in finding resources, tutorials and overall help is the LiveJournal Fursuit community. http://community.livejournal.com/fursuit/profile
There's so much there! Lists of places to get materials...people who make suits...etc. and you can post your own questions too.

I can't disperse my attention properly XD I just took on trying to learn how to make techno, not going so well! Considering, I'm ALWAYS on Gaia now. XD

What is the term for a Cats-style suit with tufts of fur on it, which conveniently allows you to wear some clothing over it and thereby cause more intense double-takes?

I ask because if I were getting a suit, that's what most of it would be - that, a facial appliance, ears of course, and some paint.

Toony, bleh.

I see too many toony suits. They start to blur together and look all the same.

I think that's why when I saw a rather realistic one that someone had made, it turned my head.

That's what I want to do. Make a realistic partial suit, with a head that's not huge like regular fursuit heads, but more form fits the face and head. Kinda like the "Cats" thing, but rather than the intensive makeup process that the Cats cast has to go through before shows, something I can throw on. Like Latex. True, latex would be hard to work with, but with plaster casts and some experimenting, something may be accomplished.

Toony suits look all the same. Unless they have some unique trait, like XXXL boobs or are covered in rainbow vomit, oh wait...
