Well, it's not exactly a Square franchise, but I'm currently working on a Clone Trooper from Star Wars Episode 3 ROTS. Thus far I've acquired the Armor and Helm, but I as of yet have no undersuit, and I lack a few belts and straps. thus far, I'm still in a minor planning stage, as I haven't yet decided on a color scheme for the armor. the helm arrived as a plain white fiberglass which I have since colored with sharpies and crayola markers in a sort of Mock-up. I'll be posting pictures hopefully by the 15th or 16th of this month.
after some deliberation, I've decided to use the color scheme of Jango Fett as a base, although the armor will be white as opposed to metalic. I'm still working on the body markings, however...
Almost finished with the primer. about another coat or two and I'll move on to the detail work. If you've ever noticed, the clones have a mesh in between the 'teeth' on the front of the helmet. I'm looking around for screen repair kits to suplement this, and I'll be using black cloth behind to ensure opacity. as for the black visor, the kit came with one, but it seems a bit to see-thru, as you can almost make out my face on the inside, so I'll be looking around the interwebs for a replacement...

been a while since I got online, as I got moved to a new company within my Battalion at work. Using painters tape and automotive spray paint, we painted the various areas of the helmet their final colors. just a bit more touch ups and detail paintings and it'll be done. now to focus on the armor. We're going to an 'armor party' today with the Mandos of Mercs.firespray.net, otherwise known as the Mandalorian Mercs, of which my wife is a member. she'll work on her armor, and hopefully I'll get some work done on mine....
