Places, everyone, this is a test
Throw your stones, do your damage, your worst
And your best, all the world is a judge
But that doesn't compare to what I do to myself
When you're not there

Vista? Hail the reign of Windows 7 ninja .

I have (or had; I'm not finding it at the moment) a neat little application on my computer called Lunabar that sat in your task bar and kept you up to date on the lunar phases and such. Here is a link for what looks like the most updated version.

I like Lunabar myself. It's keyed into my exact lat and long co-ords so I get very accurate information for my workings.

Lunabar is my favorite as well, but I'm hoping that they are going to put out an update. I was reading on their site that the charts are only good though 2010. I'd be really sad if they aren't doing updates any longer.

For those of you who don't conform to the mania that is PCs, there also exist a several apps for Mac OS X:

• MoonDock (application) - will sit visible on your desktop all the time or on the dock. I always use this in conjunction with TerraVista which is another awesomely fun app I always have up.
• Dashphoon (widget) - must bring up the widgets to see it, but shows percent illuminated.

There are some others available also, but these are the two I use.

A Mac is a PC, >>. It just uses a Mac OS.

I don't get what makes a Mac Different From a Personal Computer.

They both seem Pretty Personal to me.

The commercials always seem to differentiate it as "Mac" and "PC", and that's the way I usually think of it. Though it is technically a "pc" in the real sense of the word... I never really thought about it that way though.

I tried to use a Mac once (many long years ago), it confused the hell out of me, so I never tried it again. I do realize there aren't nearly as many differences as their used to be, but I'm too much of a creature of habit to change now.

Thanks for the Mac links Starlock!! biggrin

Yea, I don't like Macs. For the price tag and the weird operating system. Give me my "PC". I have an HP with Vista right now and I love it!

I occasionally use a program called Aromapedia - http://www.aroma-pure.com/aromapedia.htm - that not only lists the basic info about different oils, but has a pretty decent database for what they can be used for.

Hmm. One of these days I might actually install Windows on my Mac when there's enough neat things around like this to be an incentive. I heart essential oils.
