Problem with the Sims 3

I started playing the Sims 3 again.
When I first got it, it worked perfectly.
Now I start playing again and the following happens.

1. When rotating the camera too much the game crashes.
2. For no aparrent reason some weird yellow ripples show up in the game and than it crashes.

I posted this to see if this has happened to anyone else and if there are solutions.

Also, I have un-installed and re-installed it multiple times to see if that would do anything.

Something could have happened to your computer between now and then, either a virus, registry issue, or something unrelated (like another program causing the sims to crash)

It may be a pain in the butt, but likely a reformat of your OS would solve t he issue.

Its good to reformat every year or two anyways, just to keep your computer running the way it was when new.

(sorry if you're a computer guy and this seems matter of fact to you, i have no idea how much you know about computers... don't want to insult you!!! sweatdrop )

i dnt no wat uve don but it may be a good idea 2 do 1 of those virus check thingys on ur pc 2 c if u got anythin stoppin sims 3 from workin (p.s wen u get it workin again its such an awesome game

I know.
Like I mentioned it worked fine when I got it.
Than I start playing again and it didn't work.
Oh well. I'm going to re-fromat and update my computer tomorrow.

((Also,I'm no computer genius so thanks for the tip.))
