The First AMV Guild AMV Contest! On Hold for now

Hey all, after talking it over with Zahmira, The AMV Guild is going to have its very first (as far as I know) AMV Contest. If you're at all interested, keep reading, if not, be a Judge maybe.

The Rules of The Contest

- You must create a 30-45 second AMV
- Any music is allowed and any Anime is allowed
- Your AMV must look like it has a begining and an end (no cuting 30 seconds of one of your longer AMV's)
- Do not add any credits or a bug (logo in the bottom right corner) Reasons for this will be explained further down.
- All AMV's must be in to me by January 15th 2006 (that gives just over a month to do this, but hand them in as soon as they are done)

Judging

- We will hopefully have a pannel of five Judges (none of which can enter)
- The judges will be shown a video of all the entries put together and numbered (So no one will know who's AMV is who's, hence why no credits)
- The AMV's will be Judged by the same system as we've been using to review guild AMV's

Just one for now I think, I can't see us getting too many videos.
Edit: I'll be a judge. I don't know if I'll even have my computer for most of the time.

Am I allowed to submit something I've already edited before this, so long as it meets all the rules? I don't really have time to edit anything new right now... sweatdrop If so, I want to enter. If not... well, I'm still interested, but we'll have to see if I can actually get anything ready in time.

well, try editing something new and if you can't get it done then just submit the other one. I figured since its around the time of christmas break people would have free time.

A deadline extension may be good...

I had vowed to complete my latest AMV project by New Years (being holiday themed) but I've had a busier week than expected where I've been out of the house for most of the day, every day this week. I still may be able to pull something by the 15th though. I still have a week of no school left.
