Sozin's large paws rolled against the sand as she sat and sighed, unsure about the deal she had made the other day. Yeah, she wanted Ana happy.. but s**t, being with a male to make that happen? That made her insides turn. Swearing to herself So walked to the edge of the pride in hopes of finding Zara- the female that had real issues, like, inside of her kind issues. Maybe she could help.
"Back are we?"
Zara laughed as Sozin came near, head held high like she was something to respect. Zara just laughed, knowing the same thing would just happen today... Sozin would get pissy and run her off.
"Please don't ******** claw at me today, I'm still sore from yesterday."
She spat.
"Ugh, b***h, I'm not here to attack you, I need some help and I figured you have a lot of issues, so why not ask you?"
She laughed, her muzzle curling as she sat herself down close to Zara and sighed, large frame tilting to the left.
"My girl wants cubs and well, as you can see, I can't DO that for her alone."
"Your lady? And you say I have issues."
Zara laughed and rolled onto her side, glancing up at Sozin who seemed to only get upset, flashing her fangs.
"Okay, chill. Chill. I don't see what the problem is though, she wants cubs so give them to her? I mean, you get the best of both worlds that way."
"Ugh, somehow I knew you would say that."
Sozin's eyes rolled as she looked away from the other female and sighed deeply. She didn't understand why she felt so weird about this but, well, she had never BEEN with a male before.
"I just like... hope I can do it right."
Zara stopped and looked at the other lioness with a rather baffled look. She... she had no idea how... how to..? Damn.
"Well, it's not that hard to figure out, lady."
Zara frowned.
"So you've NEVER been with a male?"
"Nope. I've only been with Ana."
She nodded and looked at Zara, as if trying to understand why she was asking her this?
"How do you know you don't like males then? If you've never been with one?"
She asked, ears perked.
"I don't know? How does anyone know? I just know I don't."
She rolled her eyes and sighed. Zara would never understand what she felt for Ana, that was for sure.
"I see..."
Zara nodded and sat back down, her paws lines up side by side.
"Well, Sozin, I think you just need to do it and get it over with if you think it will make you both happy. And I'm not saying this as a friend, but someone that doesn't want to see you lose anything that makes you happy."
Sozin laughed and glanced at Zara.
"You are getting soft, brat."
She nodded at Zara though, as if trying to say thank you without... saying thank you.
"You aren't so bad. You know?"
"And you say I'm getting soft. Fff."
She laughed. The two had an odd relationship, that was for sure, but maybe it was better this way. Sozin had a friend she could count on... and Zara had a way into the pride.
