You spelled Japan wrong in your title. >> Ok... Start with animals. >: D Neko:kitten Inu biggrin og Kitsune:Fox Kirin:Giraffe Kaba:Hippopotamus Buta:pig Hitsuji:Sheep. Tora:tiger Usagi:rabbit Now colors. >: D Mizuiro:Sky blue Shiro:White Kiiro:yellow Murasaki:purple Midori:green Momoiro:pink Haiiro:grey Kuro:black Daidaiiro surprised range Chairo:brown ao:blue aka:red
That is all to be taught. razz To remember this for the rest of your life, read this once a day until you memorize it.

actually to start with Kana first. That's the best way to do it. And then start learning words and associating them with kana.

I don't know... Shouldn't people learn to remember hiragana first? They form the basics of the japanese language.
Maybe some more things that can be thrown into the list of simple words to remember...

The best way to start off with learning Japanese (also the way I did it) is to start with the Hiragana and Katakana. Then after you know those two, start to incorporate words and grammar, and after a while, incorporate Kanji.
