it seems to be the topic of many a debate now... my take on it? XemryXIII yes, global warming is real, but not caused by man... it could possibly be helped along by our pollution and such, but i doubt it. it would take thousands of years before our pollution could actually have any effect on the planet's climate. and why is it that some people are ignorant enough to think we can stop global warming? it's been happening over and over again for millions of years, wiping out entire species at its most extreme and reshaping the face of the entire planet. so how the hell do these geniuses propose to stop it? Really, i want to hear it... cuz i haven't heard a good joke in a while

I don't belive in Global Warming. This happens a lot, since the ice age melted because of extreme heat. It got really cold, then got hot, became a normal temp for a while, got cold, and then got hot again. Just because we didn't have an ice age doesn't mean it can't get hot again.
And the big hole in the ozone layer is in freaking Antartica, so we up in the nothern hemisphere shouldn't get the problems as much as the people who live around there. I don't understand that part.
*this is my opinion, so don't be mean xD*

lobal warming is a serious threat, this is not normal And i am appaled when soemone says they dont believe it, the ice ages ended naturally and this is not natural
That is horribly cruel there are living breathing animals and human beings down there that will bear the brunt of whatever affect that hole has on them Oh and can i remind you that just becuase large holes havnt opened in the northern hemisphere does not eman they cant..... then whos screwed cool
Anyone who denies the existance of global wraming is trying to run away from becoming green and curbing our green house gas emissions

Global Warming is just paranoia. The Earth goes through these cycles naturally, and guess what's due up next? Alot of heat. And actually, here in Texas, winters have gotten much colder. Seriously, how can it be getting hotter when it is colder right now?

First of all ,that was my OPINION. Second of all, I can't go "green" because my family can barley pay the bills! We are in debt, living in a small a** apartment we can not afford, and you just go and rant about this without thinking there are people who can't do things like that. Yes, I feel sorry for the animals, but the penguins seem to be doing fine. the polar bears are the ones hurt. Why is that? The earth is going through a phase. People who get worked up about golbal warming are over rated. (No offence)

Yeah, and it NEVER snows in Texas. And I mean NEVER. So twice in one winter season is virtually unheard of.

And if you're not looking for rebuttals, or counter theories the debate forum may not be the place for you.
So getting mad here would be pointless.
And my view of this particular topic. Even if global warming is of no fault of our own( Or cows..) Pollution still doesn't look nice or help us in anyway definable way.. Exhaust given off by cars and the like creates smog. That smog lingers decreasing air quality, blots out the sky and sun, can turn to acid rain, which can have adverse reactions among natural ecosystems..

Oh well no matter what economic state you are in you should still do anything you can to halt or slow down the horrible affects of global warming WHICH has been proven by scientists and etc and was acknowledged and accpeted by the Imperial court which was enough for me becuase my loyalty to the Empress and her family is absoloute and i will follow her to my death
