Yes, there has to be a debate topic about it....For those of you that do not know the world is set to end Dec. 12, 2012. Do you think this is true? Will we all die on this one day or is it nothing, but a lie? Is this what the Bible predicted or is it something else?

And no, there have been other people that have said the end was coming. (With about as much evidence as we have.) and we're still here, aren't we?
Most fortune tellers who predicted these things were f'ing high when they did. And the Mayans didn't have enough time to finish their calender before they disappeared. (They never told you that, did they?) The I Ching, the book of change, a chinese book, says that an important event is going to happen, not the end of the world. I believe something important is going to happen, not the end of civilization.

What about all that stuff about the Calender...and everything else. I'm not saying I believe..I'm saying that if something happens I'll be ready if it doesn't...I'll still be ready..XD

I belive the Mayans got tired of making calenders. xD They were like "Go make your own calenders, we freaking quit!" lol. -shrug- but thats my opinion.

naaah I don't think so.. I just think thats when it starts repeating.. I mean, honestly, they made a calander that lasted until NOW??? How much longer could it have lasted?
This is even dumber then Y2K.. as a tech nerd I understood why they were fearful (They dated everything using a duel number year ex: 1991 = 92, so They were afraid it would reset if it hit 00).
SO, I don't think Y2K12 will be any diffrent

Honestly nothing will happen except for the fact that some very cruel people plan to use the 2012 to their advantage and will probably suceed unless the Order does anything.

XxXTemporary_IllusionXxX Honestly nothing will happen except for the fact that some very cruel people plan to use the 2012 to their advantage and will probably succeed unless the Order does anything. yes, its already being exploited for profit... have you seen the sites with these guys that are selling survival kits and bunkers? the sad thing is people are actually buying them too

I think the whole thing is pretty laughable my self. People see this movie and they are like omg the world is going to end in two years! I wish I could go on public tv and just tell all of them to get real. Nothing is going to happen. The world existed before the Myans started the callander and it will continue to exist after it. In a few hundred billion years when the sun finaly explodes (which it will since its a star and thats what happens to stars eventualy) then the world will end. Either the intence heat of the blast will insinerate the planet or no sun no light, no light no plants, no plants no herbavors, no herbavors no carnavors no plants or animals no food for us burning_eyes But I will bet anyone here any money that when Dec 12 2012 rolls along there are going to be thousends of people either crowded in churches or laying in feilds waiting for it to happen. If that does happen the next morning I am going to walk or drive past one of those fields and scream "We're all still alive Loosers!" and then laugh my a** off.
