Stretching out her body, Shula let out a light purr to herself. She'd already shown her sister she was doing something right. Dancing, after all, had made her limber, nimble... Able to catch a hare without the same level of effort as Jyotika would need. She still had to put forth effort but it was easier than it could be. As she started towards her evening dancing, she wondered just what she'd dance to today.

Shaking his fur out, Kosuke paced on a high cliff. Now and then, he looked out to the horizon, cursing to himself. Four of them... FOUR of his children had come out as Huria! Two in each litter! It was disgraceful to him! Two had come out brown, one was at least a shade of gold... And one was pink. Pink! As he got ready to curse, he stopped, noticing a form moving out into the cooling evening desert. He knew that coat, that red with a stripe of yellow... The male turned, hurring to pick his way down the cliffs to follow.

The sun was slipping below the horizon, casting a cooling shadow across the land. Far from the dens, out in the dunes, Shula eventually found what she sought. The ground was actually hard, free of sands, though stil very much desert. The bare edges of the territory tended to be drastic next to the actual lands of the pride. As she moved into the sweeping dance steps, she let out a small sound of frustration. A slow dance wasn't going to do! She wanted something.... Faster.

Standing on the dunes, Kosuke watched as Shula danced. He let out a sigh, closing his eyes. She needed something... A song... He could see the frustration at a lack of it. He started down the dune, sliding just a way. "Desperate for changing... Starving for truth... I'm close to where I started, chasing after you..." He walked across the sands until it became hard ground. As he watched her, his song momentarily went to thoughts, 'I'm falling even more in love with you, letting go of all I've held onto...'

Shula looked up at the sound of someone... Singing... She spotted a familiar red lion and was unable to hide her smile. Kosuke had come to dance with her again... She went over, quietly asking him to join her in dancing not with words, but her actions. Her tail brushing under chin, she went bounding away, spinning in dance.

"I'm standing here until you make me move..." He watched her approach, the way she looked at him... Shula was happy to see him there? "I'm hanging by a moment here with you.. Forgetting all I'm lacking, completely incomplete..." Her request to dance wasn't verbal, but he could tell she wanted him to. "I'll take your invitation... You take all of me now..." He followed, joining in her dance. It wasn't the elegant one from their very first meeting, but something... Else. Something a bit bigger.

She could almost hear the words he seemed to be afraid to sing. As Shula gently brushed by him, she offered a smile, still dancing, having found the rythm. "I'm falling even more in love with you, letting go of all I've held onto. I'm standing here until you make me move, I'm hanging by a moment here with you..." She stopped, paws all setting down on the ground as she looked Kosuke in the eyes. She didn't need to be a seer, didn't need to read his mind, to know by the way he watched her just what was there.

As she came to a stop, he did, too. Kosuke saw the way she was watching him, listened to her words... "I'm living for the only thing I know, I'm running and not quite sure where to go, and I don't know what I'm diving into, just hanging by a moment here with you..." From the dancing, his sides heaved just a bit. Or was it the dancing? "Shula... I..."

Slowly, the lioness walked up to the lion, before rubbing her face into his split mane. "There's nothing else to lose... There's nothing else to find... There's nothing in the world... That could change my mind..." She took a deep breath, letting it out slowly. He was the only lion that didn't outright mock her dancing. She could tell he was making the effort to dance with her, dancing like real flames did. She'd seen the odd desert bush burn before... The flames danced, though they needed no music. "Desperate for changing... Starving for truth... I'm close to where I started... Chasing after you..."

Kosuke let out a rumble, a smile - A very gentle smile - taking over his face. The large lion stood there, before nuzzling at the lioness. "I'm falling even more in love with you, letting go of all I've held onto... I'm standing here until you make me move, I'm hanging by a moment here with you..." He didn't even have to finish the song. It was a mutual feeling, a feeling he knew he'd feel. His visions were now true, weren't they? He'd found the lioness from his dreams, and they'd fallen in love with the aid of dance. As the stars blanketed the sky and the moon continued its journey across the sky, he simply stood in silence with Shula, enjoying the peace and the moment.
