 -Yasahiro wasn't an explorer by any means. He didn't set out with feet hot to move, searching for the next new thing to see. Nor was he particularly keen on trying to see what was just over the next mountain. But on ocassion he would wander, taking in the views of the jungle.
What he'd found today however were far more interesting and exciting then he could recall ever seeing. He ignored the flowers, the falls, the vegetation, staring curiously at the strangely shaped rocks before him. Some stood.. how he did not know.. in a shape that was.. vaguely like that a two legger? In the distance he could see more rocks, rocks that he could see were FAR taller than he.. and yet didn't look like that of a cliff.
Strange.. it was all very very strange. Circling the statue curiously, his whiskered puffed, as if he were trying to find a scent like a dog. He could smell leopards atleast.. not two leggers.-

 The butterflies, the butterflies...how they IRRITATED little Chiyo! Granted, she DID like butterflies at one point but...they simply wouldn't go AWAY! She let out a low growl as she was once again swarmed by them as she suddenly shouted and began crushing them. "Stupid butterflies! The flowers are FAKE! FAKE! They dont SMELL like flowers, they hardly even LOOK like flowers! Stupid things!" she shouted as she began to chase the fleeing butterflies through the jungle. She had a little bit of a temper at times, but she simply was fed up with stupid butterflies! Why were they so STUPID!?
She landed on one with a loud 'thud' as she growled, then looked up and realized she had strayed a bit farther then she should have. Whoops. "I will just backtrack. Easy enough!" she said as she stopped however when she noticed a leopard in the distance. Who was that?She had never seen him before. She perked up her ears in interest as she walked a little closer, crouching in the brush to try and stay hidden. An enemy maybe? Hmm...she began to creep closer...and closer....then she couldn't help but feel the urge that she was hunting prey! And without really thinking....she saw his tail move and leaped at him, grabbing it in a bite as she growled. She hadn't PLANNED to leap or come out of hiding but...the moving of that tail....it was so hard to resist!(she is a cub after all XD) Hopefully that wasn't a dangerous mistake...

-Ears pinned back, lips drawing back to show sharp teeth, as his surprised gasp turned into a warning snarl, whipping about to try and face his attacker. His tail lashed instinctively to try and rid the pain, adreneline pumping through his system, silently chiding himself for not having noticed the approach of another. His claws were unseathed.. ready... until his green eyes settled on the source of the attack.
Tiny.. a mere cub. Not a foe at all, but a young leopard cub, with teeth like tiny knives dug into his precious tail. He had a hard time hurting anyone, but a child? Never. His aggression faded, nonetheless still trying to flick his tail free of the little monster. He'd never had the 'pleasure' of young ones himself, so while he'd seen such things over and over, he could hardly understand how parents put up with such actions, let alone smiled with pride at them.
A paw, now with claws redrawn safely within, reached towards the young one, voice lifting softly and smoothly.- "You should be more careful not to bite off more than you can chew little one."

Chiyo suddenly realized what she was doing as she let go and took a few steps back, folding her ears back. She just...couldn't resist the urge to chase the tail when it's whipping around like that! "Um...well...it sorta....it seemed like fun so I jumped on it..." she managed to get out, unwilling to apologize for her actions.
She then perked her ears up and puffed out her chest in an effort to seem 'big' "You stranger! How dare you trespass on these lands! Speak your business!" she 'demanded of him, still staying a few steps back from him. It was similar to a chihuahua challenging a lab, testing her limits with this stranger. Maybe she should learn stranger danger better?
"And I am not 'little one'! I am Chiyo! And you are trespassing!" she demanded of him, though really she didn't know ALL the pride members, so maybe he was one she hadn't seen before? It was possible...

"Fun can get you into serious trouble, little one.... if you don't think before you leap" -He stated softly in response to her answer, a cool warning and nothing more.
He couldn't help but grin however as her disposition suddenly changed. A grin he tried to hide after a moment, as the poor cubby seemed VERY serious.. even despite how unintimidating she was to a creature many times her size.
It was interesting information however.. a pride? He'd assumed a family perhaps.. from the scent. How often did leopards even join together? Interesting... Taking a light step back, he let his tail fall between his legs, humoring her lightly.- "Trespassing you say? I didn't know there was a pride around here"
"What is your pride li.." -He paused, correcting himself.- "Chiyo"

Chiyo frowned at him, how could fun be bad!? “No way! Fun isn’t bad! And I don’t have anything to worry about. I can take on anyone!” said Chiyo with some play growls, hopping about. She was still just a cub after all.
Chiyo was very interested in this stranger however, and he didn’t seem dangerous, so she was going to let him know she was boss! She was attempting to be ‘intimidating’ and ‘scary’ but well, when you are the size of a large house cat, it doesn’t go very well. But it wouldn’t stop the cub from trying!
Oh good! He was scared! As he should be! “Why yes! You are on the lands of the great Usafi'tukufu Leopard Pride! We aim to show that Leopards are the greatest species in existence and all others are inferior!” she shouted, puffing out her chest to try and seem bigger then she really was. ”And my grandfather, though away at the moment, is the great leader! Though I guess in his absence my uncle and aunt are in charge, but my mom is a great warrior for the pride!” she stated proudly.

"Is that so?" -He couldn't help but admire her vigor, misguided as it might be. If the pride was secluded enough to allow such delusions.. then he supposed it was of no harm. But he had wandered upon her after all? Who was to say a hyena or lion of ill intent might not find her as an obnoxious yet delicious snack? Perhaps someone should inform her parents?
As she began to rumble and puff, his attention turned back to her, ears swiveling forward in soft interest. So it WAS a leopard coalition, and a seemingly stringent one at that. His eyes lifted curiously once more to the ruins in the distance.- "How very presitigous."
"Good thing I'm a leopard then. Instead of a cheetah." -He joked softly, offering her a mild smile.- "I'd probably be taken prisoner then, hmmm?"

Chiyo was full of so much energy as she rambled on, leaping about. She knew she was small, but she talked big to try and seem big. As she got older she would grow wiser of her actions, but as a young cub all she knew was that she wante dto be the boss of EVERYONE! She had no fear of lions or hyena! Though she probably should have, they were inferior beings! They could not harm such a great creature as she!
When he mentioned a word she didn't know she frowned and folded her ears back. "You! State the meaning of that odd word of yours!" she said, not knowing what presitigous meant. She was just a cub after all, and her vocabulary was still expanding.
"If you were a cheetah you would not be a prisoner! You would be disposed of! But since you are a leopard...maybe you can come in.." she said, though she wasn't completely sure about how her pride felt about strangers. "You are my prisoner! Yes you are! I shall announce you as mine! My prisoner! I caught you!" she shouted as she happily pranced about, seemingly very proud of her accomplishment of catching herself a prisoner!
