Amani finally found the time amidst meeting various family members to go find the beybanu that her half brother had told her about. She couldn't help but smile as she heard cubs as she got closer to the beybanu's den. It was a happy sound to her, one she enjoyed very much.
She paused as she saw the other female, waiting quietly to be acknowledged, as was only respectful. Although she thought it might take a bit for her to be noticed since the other lioness seemed a little busy.

Mollie was used to the help she was getting from the Sultan of the pride. She was grateful, and thankful for it, but she wished she could keep the help around. Her Pad, Vu, was looking for another Banu to help her, but no luck so far. Maybe Aali would send someone over that could actually stay. He'd mentioned something about a sister or something coming to help her out for a time.
Sensing someone outside of her den, Mollie turned and spotted the other female. She dipped her head in greeting as she moved out into the sun. "Hello, Banu," she greeted politely, her voice still husky and deep from lack of use.

"Hello, Banu Mollie," Amani said with a smile. "My name is Amani, sister of Faiz and half sister of Aali. I was told you could use a bit of a hand around this place?" She stood, nodding her head slightly. "I find myself with a bit of free time on my hands, you see, not having a pad at the moment."

She nodded a bit and sighed heavily, taking a set just outside of her den. One of her little ones could be heard inside and she had a feeling she knew who woke up early. "Afsar. Come out here and leave the others alone," she called, her voice rough and quiet, but firm. Her green eyes darted back to the Banu before her and she gave a little, helpless, smile. "I could... I have three girls and a boy. The two oldest girls always bicker with each other." The dark lioness sighed and looked to her pale daughter as she walked out.
Afsar blinked at the sun when she stepped out of her den, and nuzzled up to her mother. Finally, the same green eyes as Mollie peered up at the Banu at the den and groaned inwardly. Another helper because they'd been bad again. Hopefully this one wasn't as strict as some of the others. "Momma, who's that?"
Mollie gave a bit of a smile and introduced them. "Banu Amani, this is the eldest daughter, Afsar. Afsar, this is the half sister of Sultan Aali. She's going to give us a hand today in your and your sister's training. Right, Banu Amani?"

"I am," Amani said with an easy smile. She looked up at her mother and asked, "Have they started their hunting training yet?" She had always loved hunting training when she was a cub, it was by far one of the funnest ways to spend the day. "You can never start too young, after all!"

Hunting... Oh, no. She couldn't teach her three girls by herself. "No.. Two of the sisters are constantly at war with each other, so they've not started. I'm afraid, with me by myself, they would... hurt each other." She sighed a bit and looked at Afsar with a sad look. It was Afsar and her sister that couldn't get along, and for the life of her, she didn't know why. Zarha thought she wasn't pretty like Afsar, or something to that. But to her, all her daughters were equally beautiful; all would find good Pad's for them when the time came.
"Perhaps with your help, Banu, we could teach them the basics today, or at least little Afsar."
At the mention of being taught something, the orange lioness lite up like the sun across the water. Afasr loved learning things that would prove useful later. Her mother knew how to hunt, so now it was her turn! "Oh, will you really teach me? I want to learn! I know pouncing! I've been practicing with a friend of mine." She'd really been practicing on crickets, but they were friends, right?

"Sure!" Amani said. "But first we need a target," she looked around, thinking for a long time as she eyed the dens. Then she smiled. "I can be the target!" she said. "And you and your mommy need to work together." She leaned forward, as if imparting a secret. "One of you needs to hide," she told the little cub. "And the other needs to scare me towards them."

Of course Mollie heard what was being said and she chuckled a little bit. She was still very apprehensive about this. But it was just one cub learning for now. It would go smoothly with two Banu watching over her, wouldn't it? She prayed to every God she could think of that it would. Hopefully, nothing foul happened.
"Afsar, why don't you be the one to hide and pounce on her first? Remember, no teeth or claws in this. It's just practice."
She had to hide? That's not what she wanted to do! But maybe the could take turns hiding and scaring. The scaring part sounded so much better than hiding. "Yes momma! Then we can switch?" She looked to Amani for confirmation that the other lioness would be here that long. Sometimes the other Banu's didn't stay very long, and they didn't really help momma out.

"Then we can absolutely switch," Amani said. "But this way you get to see how your mother does it before scaring me, right? It's a good thing! And now I'm going to close my eyes and count to twenty while you go find a place to hide, okay?"

And off the little Banu went to go find her place to hide. Her green eyes were watching her mother carefully, seeming to absorb everything the other lioness was doing. Afsar was at that sponge age; everything she watched would be logged away for later use. Mollie was quite like that when she was her age, only no where near out going.
Mollie got into position, looking toward her daughter and flashing a grin. Mouthing the words 'mimic me' she crouched low to the ground; not visible from Amani's point of view.

"Eighteen, nineteen, twenty!" Amani finished up her counting, looking around. The little banu had done a good job hiding, she thought as she started forward. "Oh what a lovely day it is!" she said, much like a stage actress, her voice just loud enough for hidden little lionesses to hear. "I think I shall go for a walk!"

Mollie would wait. Stalking one's pray was essential in a good hunt and usually insured a kill. She moved deftly, silently through the grass, hardly causing a rustle. She knew how to move. After all, she practically grew up in the rogue lands despite coming from the Pridelands. When she and Vu went on their adventure, she had to learn to hunt, and silently. She'd only been a cub the.
Now that she was an adult, she was a deadly creature who knew her own body and what it was capable of. So, she took a moment, watching Amani with a smirk upon her face. She couldn't hear what Amani was saying, but since she had to wait for her daughter to attempt, it didn't matter. She kept that in mind, "Afsar first". Otherwise, she would have pounced by now.
Unlike her mother, Afsar knew nothing of timing or stealth. She moved around noisily, kicking rocks and muttering curses. She honestly tried to be quiet and quick about it, but she was so clumsy! It was a good thing this was just practice, otherwise she'd never get food this way. Her Pad would forever go hungry!
But, once Amani stopped a moment, that's when Afsar decided to pounce, a frontal attack. She sprung from the grass with a weak growl and latched onto an ankle with her 'claws'. Which meant her paws wrapped around one of Amani's feet. What else was she supposed to get? The other lioness was so tall!

"Wah!" Amani cried, starting to run with the cub clinging to her. "Oh no! Oh no!" she said, trying (not very hard) to shake her off. Basically it was a bit of a ride. And worse off, she wasn't heading towards the cub's mother.
She twisted once she got close enough to a well padded bush, trying to toss the little one off into it, so she wasn't hurt too badly.

The ride was fun. She landed with a soft thump and giggled when she did, her tail flicking hard behind her. My, all she wanted to do now is play. The bush was amazing in breaking her fall, that's why she sprung off of it and onto Amani again, aiming to get her ear, wanting to chew on it. "I'll get you!

Amani let out a laugh and raced away before the little one could pounce her again. "Sorry, sweetie, you lost your element of surprise!" she called back to her with a giggle. Oh yes, she thought, this was definitely an entertaining way to train a huntress!
