The night air was heavy with a sense of expectation. Onatah’s body half formed within the trunk of a tree, her hair falling over one shoulder as she inspecting her world. Even since her birth she had not contacted any of her own; her brothers and sisters. But they were out there; she could feel them.
The Goddess of Nature slowly pulled herself out from the tree and floated gracefully to the ground, large feathered wings flapping once before coming to rest upon her back. This feeling... it was the closest to Nirvana this world was ever going to get.
Humming softly under her breath Onatah stepped out across rocky ground. Evil reigned to the south of here, the Demon God. There were others around, getting closer. With a smile Onatah melted into the rocks to wait.

Just as his Goddess concealed herself, Mahkah suddenly appeared just a few feet from her. Quickly he glanced around and, when he saw no one, he relaxed slightly. Instead he focused his attention on his surroundings attempting to seek out Onatah. Of course he sensed her nearby, but considering she could be anywhere within nature, he had to search every bit of the area carefully.
Mahkah was distracted momentarily as a butterfly fluttered by in front of his nose. With a smile, he watched the butterfly circle him and then carefully land on top of the rocks just behind him. "Aha!" he called out playfully. Quickly and carefully he stepped around the spot that the butterfly was guarding and leaned himself against a tree just behind it. Although he couldn't easily melt into the tree as Onatah could, he was able to blend himself in enough just so that he wouldn't be easily seen.

Shay appeared in a puff of smoke in the clearing. She'd sensed something happening...something gathering. She'd dressed for the occasion, in her best and most royal dress. It was blue, of course, and it hung in big beautiful ruffles down her body. Atop her head, she wore a tiara. She looked like a princess out of a fairy tale. Behind her, her mother Isadora stood with one of her little ones: Vicious. Shay was a new mother, but ever the princess in her home, she allowed her own mother to do most of the nurturing. It was good for her anyway, it reminded her of her life before all the turmoil. " Father's family is near, Mother," Shay said to Isadora, " Remember your manners..."

Vera had watched her mother and sibling go out. Not liking being left behind she ran off after them, being a little slow as she was a small girl.
"Mommy, wait, wait." She staggered almost falling having tripped on her own dress that was slightly similar to Shay's. The little Goddess liked matching her on such occasions. She caught up and straighted herself out. "What's going on anyway?"

Gareth materialized just within the trees surrounding the clearing. He wasn't sure why but something told him this was the place to be tonight. He could see some movement just beyond the trees. He couldn't see the individuals clearly but he could sense that they were his kin. He had yet to meet any others like him and it seemed that now was his chance to do so. Looking down at himself he checked to make sure he was dressed well enough for the occasion. He was wearing emerald green pants and coat with pale gold embroidery, black boots and a slightly off white undershirt just visible under the open buttons on his coat. Nodding and deciding that he was presentable Gareth stepped out into the clearing to meet with the others. A small cloud of smoke appeared on one end of the clearing slowly forming into a rather young Deity. Syng had felt a similar calling that all the others had. Something told her this is where she needed to be. Using all three of her hands she smoothed down her long pigtails and to make sure the bands holding them up were tight enough. Folding her upper arms under her breast and her lower one on her hip, Syng smiled slightly and wondered what kind of fun might be happening tonight.

The butterfly left the rock as soon as Mahkah had blended into the trees. It fluttered about the area as if searching for something and then came to rest on another patch of earth nearby. The presence of her mate was, to Onatah, like a comforting blanket across her shoulders.
She rested within the earth; sensing everything around her with her body. Worms made their way past her through the soil as insects went along in their daily search for food. Then nature became tinged with something more; a god. So they had come. And more were approaching.
“Welcome brother. It is a pleasure to finally meet you.” Her voice was the whisper on the wind. Necare had been warned by her father not to go anywhere near this area. He had of course felt the sudden influx of deities and made sure his children were well aware they were forbidden from having anything to do with it. And of course, Necare had chosen to ignore it. The Dark Angelic moved silently through the shadows; until Shay’s group came into view. Now uncertain, she slipped behind a tree to watch and wait.

Shay's ears twitched at the sound of her daughter's little voice. She turned around, just in time to see the little one trip, and giggled. Shay went to her daughter and picked her up into her arms.
"Vera, you should have stayed home with Papa. But I suppose you can meet your family as well.""
Shay took Vera over to her grandmother and handed her over. Isadora held both children in either arm, just as she had when Shay was a child and her sister was still around. Shay took the opportunity, while her hands were free, to smooth out her gown.
"Just be sure to behave yourself in front of your aunts and uncles. Some of them are very old and wise!"
"Yeah, sis! Don't be annoying in front of the grown-ups!" Vicious said as he tugged on his sister's ear.

Alayet had felt like something was brewing, and sure enough it seemed like a few of the gods had already shown up. She smiled, looking at a few of them with her green eyes. She walked up behind the group, standing just slightly away. Her chainmail jingled as she walked, almost in a manner of music. The soft smile stayed on her lips, even when she looked at holy ones who left a darker aura on the group. Here was a holy place, no battle would happen.

Gareth lifted an eyebrow and looked around. He had heard a voice and felt a presence but he couldn't see anyone near enough to have spoken to him so clearly. More faes had appeared some like him and others not quite the same. He thought some felt...darker than others, but he didn't fear confrontation because though they felt darker they didn't give off a threatening feeling.
Turning his attention back to the mysterious voice he smiled warmly and replied. "I would say the pleasure was all mine Milady," for though he could not see who had spoken the voice was definitely that of a female. "But I'm afraid not seeing you puts me at a disadvantage."

As other figures came into view, Mahkah stood so very still against the tree to avoid being seen right away. The only movement he had made was his smile that grew at the ones who were gathering around. Good or ebil, dark or light.. no matter their alignment, Mahkah knew that each of them were a gift to the world from Chaos and respected each of them as such. Being only an angelique, he knew his place and would keep himself there for the moment. Instead he would be the shadow to his Goddess during this gathering, though he wouldn't mind giving a friendly greeting to those that appeared if he was allowed.

"Leave me alone Vicious!" Vera whined sticking her tongue out after pulling her ear to safety. "You're annoying even without trying, you should of stayed home with papa." She huffed.

Alayet hung back, letting her green eyed gaze look upon the others. Her eyes were instantly drawn to the children however, and their sudden squabble. Children always seemed to tiff where ever they were. Alayet's soft smile turned into a slightly amused look. Ah, kids will be kids. Even if they were more powerful than any other set of kids Alayet had met before.

"Nuh-uh, Vera! Mama said that I was gonna get to meet the family first! You were supposed to stay with Papa!"
"Both of you hush!" Isadora's voice boomed down over her grandchildren, "Be respectful of your elders and be good."
Shay smiled at her mother. She was happy to have to around so much, especially now that the children had come.
"See what you did, Vera? You made grandma mad! Vic whispered to his sister.
Shay shook her head, though she smiled, and looked around her to see who had arrived.

“True enough. My apologies.” The Goddess pulled herself up out of the ground, tail flicking off a speck of dirt that seemed intent on clinging to her. Onatah smiled good naturedly at the god as a number of birds from all around decided to land in her hair. “I am Onatah, my domain is that of nature and this is...” Her wings fluttered as she peered over her shoulder back towards the tree. “Mahkah dear, I need you.”
Necare’s claws dug into her skin as she watched the god and goddess greet each other. Her gaze flickered to Alayet; hating and desiring the female all at once. She was indeed beautiful; however the good in her heart made Necare sick. “Tch.” The daughter of the demon god lurked, slowly circling the area.

Vera stared at her brother harshly. Though in seconds she was crying big tears. "I'm always left out!" Her grandmother yelled, startling her but she continued to cry though tried to keep it quiet.
She leaned on her grandmother now wishing she had just stayed home with Papa. This wasn't as much fun as she thought it would be.
