Super bowl commercials

That was a rather interesting game last night. I was rooting for the underdogs, the team favored to lose, as I always do. The saints have never been to the Superbowl and no one expected them to win. But that offside kick at the beginning of the second half, and then that interception off in the 4th... crazy stuff.


Did anyone see the Last Airbender commercial? "From M. Night Shamalamadingdong, M. Night Shamalamadingdong presents, M. Night Shamalamadingdong's Avatar the Last Airbender.... produced, written, and directed by M. Night Shamalamadingdong." Yes, his name was mentioned about 50 times. Looks cool though.

See the pro-life commercial? Is CBS owned by Murdoch or something? "I chose life and my son became a quarterback!" Yea, go ******** yourself.

Eh, I could keep going on and on. Have to drive by a pro-life propaganda thing on my way to school each day. Something about "number of abortions daily in the US" or something, with a bunch of crosses behind the sign. I want to rent a nearby billboard and have it say:
"Number of people willing to take care of all of these unwanted children: 0
Number of people willing to pay for caring for all these unwanted children: 0
Who would be paying for all these people forced on the system? YOU"

I doubt in this economic crisis anyone is willing to take on hundreds of children daily, nor would there be much support for an ever increasing tax to pay for all the services the state would have to provide just to get these children into their teens before dumping them on the streets where most end up turning to a life of crime because that's the only way to really make enough money to survive. Or heck, make easy money.

I'll shut up now. I rant off topically on something that is rather irritating to me...

Now I want to see Airbender, Alice in Wonderland, and Robin Hood. Maybe the Prince of Persia move. Definitely not the one with the woman giving birth in the baby pool, looked stupid.


Best non-trailer ad I thought was the google one for being very simple but dawwww...

Slugbug commercial. Idiots. you only slug if it's a Beetle. This would have been appropriate 10 years ago or so when they came out with the new beetle.

E-trade babies commercials. GOD will they stop with the stupid talking baby, that s**t was old 2 years ago. Seriously, E-Trade needs to fire their advertising people.

National Lampoons Griswald Hotel commercial. Poor Chevy Chase will do anything for cash. Even blowjobs!
