So, he was an older brother again; this change had made him feel both lucky and old. He somewhat envied his mother and father, and often thought about the 'what ifs' in life; What if Ziska had loved him back? Would they have started a family? Would he be a father right now too? His eyes, though showed signs of his pain, had started to heal- Airion has started to let go of his first heart ache and was moving on.

The wingless god smiled as he sat down, his tail curled around his body. Today was a good relaxing day. He had just got done watching his siblings. It was his time now. His time to be, well, free.

At first Airion had not noticed the new goddess who had appeared, he was very much the day dreamer, after all. He was off in his own thoughts for the most part, pretending to be alert- but he truly wasn't. He thought about a lot of things, mostly his true goals and dreams before snapping back to reality.

His baby blue's narrowed as he turned to face the gray beauty, speaking out kindly to her, inviting her to join him.

"Hello!"

He seemed excited to see her.

"Come sit with me, I won't bite!"

He laughed. The one thing Airi was good with, well, it was being open and friendly. He loved to make new friends and meet new people. He tilted his head to the side and smiled brightly, his wingless back matching her own. He had not noticed that about her just yet, and when he did-well it made him smile even more! She was so very lovely, AND wingless? Could you say jackpot?

"What's your name?"

He asked.

"My name is Airion."

He answered with a nod, as if to welcome her. He was very large in size, even bigger than his father was, but he was a softy.

"Niesha, I've not seen you around here before, do you not come here often?"

"I was born here, but I spend my time going back and forth."

He spoke with such a kind and caring tone, Airion was just too sweet for his own good.

"When I was little I spent a lot of my time in the Ela, and with age and wisdom I began to come here more, I think I may use this place as a, well, a safety net of sorts; I know I will be safe here, but down there... you can never be too sure."

He smiled at her as she sat beside him, his eyes wandering over one once more.

Oh! He had never thought that maybe she wasn't use to the prides and name slang. He smiled at her and spoke out.

"Forgive me. It's a pride, the lions are all covered in tattoos."

He nodded.

"And yes, my family is here, my mother and father just had another littler of cubs, so I am a big brother again."

He smiled at her, as if to keep reminding her that she was safe here with him, Airion wanted nothing more than to make friends.

"I'm also a twin, my twin's name is Mora, she is my other half pretty much--though we don't always get along."

A laugh passed his muzzle as he sighed and smirked. Mora was a crazy spit-fire, Airi was a relaxed blue flame.

"What about you? Your family live here or...?"

He could tell the subject was a bit sore for her, she spoke with a tone of regret, and he could see the change in her stance and tone. She was so very sweet, but... seemed a little unsure of herself, this made him frown. Such a pretty girl didn't need to feel bad, he thought.

"I see."

He nodded and flicked his tail from side to side, his nose wrinkling.

"You know what I would really like?"

He wanted to make her feel better. He really did.

"If you would come back here more often and visit me, or maybe I can come with you, back down to the grasslands."

Her childish manner just made him smile. She was sweet and he liked that. Airi was a good fellow too, though he did have his own issues; but for a while, she had helped him forget them, and that was new but, nice.

Very nice.
