Seaki
The morning air was crisp and clear with the scents of grass and earth - a wonderful scent, especially when out and about so early. The earth hadn't become hot and sticky yet, but it wasn't frigid and bone chiling.
Maua gave a soft yawn, bright pink eyes closing with the effort. She glanced into the den, looking over the cubs, all 13 of them curled around Tsu and Ban'ma. She smiled, her family - she adored each and every one of them and cherished the cubs as her own. She held her Pad, Sisters, and Children all close to her heart.
Enough of that. She pondered for a moment weather she should hunt or not, as she stepped into the sun for more warmth.
Kaori
Achal sat outside the den, enjoying the warmth of the morning sun. It was such a nice way to start the day. He was extremely proud of his growing family and currently he felt very at ease.
He turned as Maua exited the den and smiled softly at her. "Good morning Maua. Did you sleep well?"
A gently breeze blew by fluffing Achal's mane sightly and making his appear rather fluffy.
Seaki
"Good Morning, Achal," she gave a slight decline of head and a bright smile. "I slept wonderful, thank you. Did you?" She returned the question with a light voice, eyes watching the scenic male that brought the family together.
Te floral female's eyes turned to her pads face, faintly watching his mane with interest - so blue and fluffy like the sky and clouds.
Kaori
Achal smiled brightly enjoying the smile Maua bestowed upon him. "I slept very well. I was very warm with all the new additions to our family cuddled around."
He watched as she watched him and chuckled slightly. His marking never ceased to amaze and it highly amused him. He looked to Maua flowers and smiled. She was very unique herself. How lucky he was to have her.
He wonder for a moment what there future cubs might look like and he could help but picture a rainbow of cubs. He chuckled, "You and Ban'ma have adjusted very well to life in the harem. You've taken on the rolls of mother superbly."
Seaki
Maua gave a soft smile. "It wasn't hard to fall in to the role," she said honestly. "You, Tsu, and the cubs were all very welcoming towards the two of us." Her eyes sparkled with happiness at the throught of her family.
"I can't imagine being any other place, now," she told him, eyes turned to his.
Kaori
Achal stood and moved closer to Maua, looking at her for a moment and then nuzzling her. "I would have to say I am glad to here you say that. I do not know what I would do if one of you wanted to leave, for I wouldn't have the heart to make you stay. I am glad that you are happy."
Achal moved back and continued to look at Maua with a smile on his face. "Tell me, have you given any thought to have cubs of your own?"
Achal loved cubs and would certainly welcome more into his harem with an open heart, but not if his banu did not wish it as well.
Seaki
Maua was glad her Pad was so kind and caring. He had a great heart. She had seen some of the other angry looking Pads, and she was glad she was a Banu to Achal. She could only smile to his statement.
However, her years flicked at the question, and she looked suprised for a second. She should have expected the question, but she hadn't expected it at this moment. Recovering from her supprose quickly, the floral girl gave a smile. "I have thought long about it." She conceded.
She tilted her head a bit. "And though I consider the cluch of cubs of the harem, I," she paused. Was she ready, she wondered. "I think I would like to try."
Kaori
Achal wasn't surprised to hear that Maua had thought about the prospect of having cubs. So many of the prides banu had cubs, they were truly everywhere. He smiled at her thinking about the prospect of cubs in the near future.
He nuzzled her once more when she said they she would like to try. He was happy to know he would once again be able expand his family and make his harem even larger. To him it was a show of the love he had for his banu.
"That makes me very happy to hear. I am sure we will have very beautiful cubs. We will love them, as will there siblings and other mothers."
He wondered how soon they should try for cubs, but decided not to ask and simply let it happen on its own time.
Seaki
Maua gave a soft smile, body warming with the sun and swelling with emotions. She gave a small nod. "I know they will grow up with as much love as they could," Maua complied softly. Between the three girls and Achal, they took care of each other well.
Of course, that's how Maua supposed it worked, a large family as such. She didn't, she couldn't doubt is just fit, like that of the sun and the moon. They just existed, in perfect harmony.
At least, that's what she thought.
Kaori
Achal lay down yawning lightly, "Yes they will have all the love and they will be well protected. I will make sure to find the best pads for our daughters and with you three to help, it will go far easier."
He looked up to Maua grinning. "Lie with me and relax Maua. We do not often get to be and have one on one time. We should enjoy this moment."
He stretched out on his side, lying lazily on the ground. He was greatly enjoying them moment.
Seaki
Maua turned her pinkish eyes on her Pad and gave a soft nod. She would be sad to see her daughters go, but proud - proud of both her daughters and sons for establishing her place in the pride, starting their own family and such.
"Yes, it is rare," she enjoyed their one on one time, though she didn't mind sharing the attention with her sisters. She slid her body down next to Achal, soaking up the warmth and the attention. It made her feel special, actually.
Kaori
Achal nuzzled Maua before lying back and looking up at the sky. "It seems like it just you and I alone in the world right now. It hard to imagine that in a very short time we will probably be trampled by cubs and cuddled by Tsu and Ban'ma."
Achal laughed listening to the quiet breathing of Maua and the birds chirping in the trees around them. He could hear the pride waking in beginning the day and he which he could stop time.
Seaki
The floral female gave a small giggle. "Probably so," came her response with amusement. With a small yawn, she lay her head on one of his paw, deciding the mini-hunt could wait until everyone was awake.
She gave him a smile that shown from her eyes. She knew this alone tome wouldn't last long, and she soaked every minute of it up.

Achal smiled as Maua smiled at him before shutting his eyes and letting himself float off into his dreams. Dreams where he had an abundance of cubs with Tsu, Maua and Ban'ma and he showed the world how much he loved them. His future, their future was bright.
