~Story~
In a world that's policy is "sink or swim" only the smartest ones survive. There are two ways of survival, having a high paying job for the government, or being a pirate. Those that work in the Government have two main jobs, to protect the public, and to hunt pirates. Pirates on the other hand tend to have one main job, they go after treasure, though one legend of treasure stands above all. It is said that those who find this large sum of treasure will be bestowed their wildest dreams. Though there has yet to be anybody that has found this treasure. In this world though there is something special, cursed fruit. Those who eat this cursed fruit are given certain abilities, such as the ability to change their form, see the future, and many other abilities. Though the cursed fruit is close to nearly impossible to come by, for there is only a small number of the fruit in the world.

~Plot~
The world has been slowly going into chaos, everybody has been hearing stories of an anceint treasure that bestows the finder their wildest dreams. This treasure though was hidden away by one of the greatest pirates, and was forever lost, never to be found again, or so the pirate hoped. To this day only one map exists of this fabulous treasure, those who have this map have tried and failed to get to the treasure. Do you have what it takes to get to this treasure?

~Extras~
Just Something that all should know about the cursed fruit, anybody that eats the cursed fruit will forever lose the ability to swim in any water, and will sink like a stone if they were to have the misfortune of falling in the ocean or another large mass of water

Bio: She was raised into piracy, her father taking her with her as he went to hunt down the final treasure. She had learned from his crew how to fight and defend herself, learning fast at a younge age how to use a sword and gun. As she got older she had found one of the legendary cursed fruit and had eatten it before her father or anybody else could have stopped her. From the fruit she found that she had gotten large black feathered wings that she could retract and grow at will. She found that when she had learned to fly she could toss her feathers at her opponents and grow them back nearly right away. When her father found out about her ability he cast her away, disowning her. She had learned the hard way that being different only meant that you would get shunned. She had later found out that her father had been killed by his mutunos crew.

other: She travels alone on a small boat with one sail and has the map to the legendary treasure. She is also known to have a bit of a split personality, one that hates the world, and one that loves everybody in it.

Bio: taken aboard a vessel at an early age, Isshuin has no family and as long as he can remember his life has always been one filled with pirates. His only salvation after days of slave labor was being thrown into the crew cabins with other bigger men who sung many songs and drank very heavily. His place amongst the crew was his home and they dy his captain's ship was pillaged and destroyed, he was left alone deemed unworthy to kill. Vengance burning in his heart he took to becoming a pirate. He fixed his captain's ship and now uses it to find treasure and with a crew of his own he sings at death at offers him a drink. Isshuin "the sea scourge" Hatume is ready for anybody!

other: he's headstrong and bi-polar, laughing it up one minute, slashing at you the next. He has a good heart but it's clouded by his violent temper

Lathurian was drunk with power and truned into something other. But he never regreted it to this day. Now he is after the one thing he has always wanted, The Treasure.

One the day that they crashed and ate the cursed Fruit, he watched his brother turn into the most horrid thing. They used to be like twins and now his brother did unspeakable evil. Now he works for the goverment and hunts his brother for the good of all people.

Ability: Eating a delicous fruit he found at a dig site has given him some basic "spellcasting" ablity, oft triggered by some psudeo Latin/japanese/whatever seems coolest atm word. Use of these "spells" causes dancing "Runes" to appear, hence the nickname. It should be known that this ablity seems fairly weak, maybe he just doesn't know how to use it yet...

Weapons: Skilled in use of the crossbow, and has his reinforced for use as a blunt combat weapon.

Bio: Ever since a young age, Alekzander has been told more tales of the ancient and powerful ocean than anyone else on the planet, his grandfather being the elder story teller of his small city. Most dismissed the old mans tales as nothing but just that, tales, save Alek and the old man himself. After years of reaserch, and upon the passing of his grandfather, the use of his inheritance to attend a proud government university, Aleksander has become known as a bit of a phenomen. His research into tales of the past as history has led him to several unique skills, and the belief that "The Treasure," if found, could be used to bring peace, stablity, and wealth to the enitre world. He is a bit naive, and could be prone to idealism. He also wants a great cause to fight for, as the "Government" seems rather unable to hold its own.

He's been sheltered almost all of his life, first by the tales of his grandfather, the safety of the village, and then the University. Bio: Trained as an assassin he keeps hidden blades with him always. He helps only those who offer the highest pay and has gained a good and bad name for it on both sides. He never stays around the same group of people for long and cares only for his own life and his employers at the time. In it for money and a sense of adventure every now and then. He doesnt look very strong but is extremely agile and was and still is top of his class. Has created quite a rep for himself and has two nick names provided by villagers. Shadow and deceased.

Other: almost seems to warship the darkness at most times not enjoying the light much. Like most has a dark side that he sometimes tries to hide. He treats most equally which goes against many peoples beliefs

Nova sat, bored on her little ship as she worked her compass, staring at the map that lay in her lap. She looked from the compass, to the map, and than to her surroundings. There was no land in sight, though she knew exactly where she was. She adjusted her sails due east and folded up her map, putting it away in her pocket before she stood up to stretch, making her frightfully small boat rock. She waved her arms this way and that, careful not to fall over before she looked around, letting out a sigh, she needed a new boat.

Lathurian stood on the end of their warship, just enjoying the wind and the sea. He had no care in the world and had just what he needed. They had plundered a small town before the government could even notice so now their pouches were full and the drink was good. Lathurian almost laughed. That and he now knew who held the Map. He would find this woman and take The Map from her. He thought on this a little more. He may even extend her a position on the boat. But for now that did not matter he would just go and rest for now. The man in the crows nest yelled to Lathurian. "Captain! We spotted a small boat! A Woman is sailing it!" Lathurian glanced up and nodded to the man. "You men Know what to do. Take her. And Please alive this time." The men Laughed but were stilled by Lathuiran's cold glare. They readied the boats and were after her in a moments notice.

Vondel sailed from the plundered town, his heart heavy with all the gruesome sights he had seen. What was his brother now? Vondel looked out into the sea, hot on his brother's trail and eager for blood. But he had to admit, that the trail would go cold. Lathurian always was able to make his s**t go faster than any other. But what Luck! His ship, the Bloodraven was in sight! For some reason they had stopped.... Vondel turned to the Captain and nodded to him. "Thats the ship, ready your men for battle." The ship put on even more speed, almost seeming to get the same bloodlust of the crew who had lost so many friends and family to these Pirates.

Nova turned her attention as she noticed that there was a ship close enough for her to see in the distance. She let out a sigh as she saw that it had the flag of a pirate. She stood up, she didn't feel the urge to fight with anybody, or even deal with them. She shoved the map and all of her other possessions in a small bag she always held with her and hid it in the only secret compartment there was in her ship. She turned and scowled, seeing the ship approaching her fast. She than turned and took her mast down before turning to face the ship once more, her wings extending as she got in position, her feet ankored to the ship as she began to send gusts of wind toward the other ship, forcing her small ship to accelerate quickly, going faster and faster as she cast gust after gust of wind toward the other pirate ship. With time she knew that she would get away from this ship.

Kiva sighed sitting bordly upon her ship, they had ported a dew nights ago as she calculating where her next targets were and what not as her crew was out getting drunk and doing whatever they pleased, no goverment agents dared to step foot on this land for it was a pirate port, she huffed bordly feeling stuffed up she headed out onto the main deck and sat on the railing with her sharp green days glancing away twords the open sea, her eyes scaned not looking for anything in particular but catching movement she saw a small boat being chased by a big ship, she shook her head thinking nothing of it and turned away

Lathurian frowned. This girl was not normal. Well he would just have to deal with this himself. He really hated having to do much of anything. He closed his eyes gently and focused on the little ship, grabbing it with his powers. It was no small feat to lift a boat, none the less carry it to a bigger one. By the time she arrived he was all but falling over in exertion. But he made it seem like he was just fine and crisp as ever. He looked at the woman with a cold expression. "Welcome aboard my humble ship, the Bloodraven. I hope you come to love it as I do. I heard you have the map I have been seeking. Can I have it?" his question was a poorly masked command as he held out his hand. But it was cut short by the shouts of his men. Lathurian glared at the incoming ship.undefined

Vondel smiled, clearly his brother had seen him because their ship was turning tail to run. They never stood and fought. "Make haste men! Dont let them escape this time!" Vondel reached out, trying to sort through the thoughts of all on the ship.

Nova growled as her ship was lifted by some sort of power, though she had no idea what, she glared daggers at the man who asked for her map. She had yet to leave her ship as she, in one quick motion, grabbed her bag from the hiding place and rocketed upward into the sky and away from the men on the boat. She saw another boat as it drew nearer though she cared less, she looked back once to her boat, sad to leave it behind, though glad she had already packed all of her possessions. She held her back in both of her arms, close to her so that nothing would be lost without her immidiate notice as she began to head for what looked like an island a bit far off.

Lathurian's frown deepened as he watched her fly off to an island. At least he knew where she was going. A few men were getting on the bastillas and aiming for her but a cold look from Lathurian had them aiming at the other ship instead. "Fire on Vondel's ship and ready the smoke bombs. Ill be in my room. Do not dare desturb me." He went to his room as the men ran to do his bidding. A healthy dose of fear always kept them on their toes. Lathurian sat on his bed and closed his eyes for a moment, focusing and controling his power to make the ship speed up. Rowers also helped by rowing with him. All of this coupled with the wind in the sails made sure that they would outrun Vondel in no time. But just then, on eather side of his room, two large Hooks slammed into the ship and held there, slowing the ship and pulling the other. Lathurian glared and used his power to throw the hooks back. By then Lathurian was about to faint, the blood was rushing to his head in concentraion and exercion but he could not stop now. The smoke bombs went off and they were concealed for the moment.

Vondel cursed as he saw the hooks that he had thought would finely capture Lathurian failed miserably. When the smoke bombs went off he glared into it. "Fire everything we have at them!" Bastillas and cannons went off, hitting nothing but ocean and air. When the smoke finely cleared the ship was long gone. There was no way they could catch up. The captain came down to stand next to Vondel. "Should we turn back sir? There is a government outpost not to far from here and we could make port there." Vondel thought this over, respecting the Captain's advice and considering it. "No, we will go after them to that island there. They seem to be headed that way at least. If they make port there we will meet them and burn their ship. They will not make it off alive." The captain nodded and carried out his orders as Vondel glared out over the sea. He had a bad feeling about this.

"yo Cap'in" Anna called to Luthurain hanging by her knees from some rope strung out on deck. the others were terrifide of him she wasnt. i mean he did scare her and she respected him fully but she wasnt so easy to controle as the rest. though she always did as commanded and did it well. "we'v seemd to have lost em" although she apperad delicate tiny and innocent she was far from it. she would do anythign for her prize. anything. she swung up on the rope and climbed a lil higher to get a better look to see were the flying chick had gone.

Nova looked back as the ship sped away, grimacing that she had lost her boat. She than noticed another boat that appeared to be following the one she had just escaped from. Upon closer examination she found it to belong to the government, which only made her grimace more. She let out a sigh as she tucked in her wings and allowed herself to spiral down toward the earth. She saw right where the ocean met the land and flared out her wings a second before she hit the ground, preventing her from landing head first and for her to land gracefully on her feet, her wings disappearing as her feet touched the ground. She looked around as she slung her bag over one shoulder, keeping it under one arm as she did so before she began to examine the boats that were tied down to the docks, looking for any that she could make off with and manage by herself.

Sighing heavily with bordom she turned her gaze back twords the other boats in the ocean but she noticed the small one had vanished, she tilted her head and peered closer at the big one, it seemed to be pirate but their was another fallowing it, Goverment? she tilted her head, they shouldnt dare set foot upon this island,this wasnt their territory, her gaze swept away when she noticed something flying she thought it was a girl at first but squinting her eyes she noticed a girl, a girl with black wings heading right for port, or for the ships that were ported, her ship was to big to be managed by one person so she should be fine, she shrugged though it would be intresting to set sail with another who ate one of the rare fruits

It was amazing how everyone would go quiet when a new character walked into an inn. Most people that came to this port were regulars and if you had visited before you would find familiar faces almost every where you looked. If not for the music he would have thought he had entered a ghost town. His black jacket whipped around his legs as the door closed and he walked towards the counter not bothering to glance at any of the strangers. It was silent until he sat at the bar then the whispers started. Just as always, he wouldn't find decent work here. Not with drunken pirates anyway. Reaching down to his waste he tossed a small coin pouch onto the bar top and pulled out a knife as well spinning it between his fingers. The clank of gold coins got the bar keeps attention and the man finally turned towards him. “What can I do ya for?” He asked looking him up and down trying to decipher his character. “Something to drink and a bit of info on where a man could find jobs would be nice. Business is slow lately.” The man took a step back as he caught the small glare the 21 year old gave him. “If you want a job heading to the docks may catch your interest people come through there constantly and a lot of people are looking for crew members.” The man replied placing a glass in front of him and lifting a green labeled bottle shakily. “You think I'm looking for a permanent job on a ship?” He chuckled. “You people make me laugh. I work for those who offer the most money then move on. Its how I roll. I don't want to be stuck in one place or with one group of people since I tend to get irritated and kill clients.”
