How Many Kids Do You Normally Have?

Normally, I play the family with just one child. So that everything's easily distributed. Yet I just got a family, and she just had her fourth child- and it's not so bad.

I was curious as to how many kids your "average" sim family usually has.

I use Awesome Mod and play on a whole-neighborhood scale. So a lot of the time, I'm leaving the family planning to my sims, and I only intervene if they both have wishes for a baby, and they haven't actually done anything to make one.

I would guess most of my families average around 4 kids?

They could probably have more (AwesomeMod allows you to have more than 8 people per house), but they seem to really enjoy having a kid or two right after they marry, and then popping out the rest as they near Elder-hood.

I usually have 2-3 children, one at a time. I try to avoid twins at all costs if I don't have another sim to help take care of chores; they're just too annoying with only two parents. gonk

If someone has the family aspiration then I let them have a lot of kids.
If not, then 2-4 is usually my average.

2-4... haha I guess that's the norm so far.

About two, but in my newest family they have four: Two teenaged twins, a toddler and a baby girl ^-^

usually i only have 1 or 2 but some times when im just messing around i have like 4 or 5 kids

1 or 2 is the norm for my Sims.
My Sims 3 Sims haven't actually had any kids yet. The most my Sims 2 Sims had was 6. I was working towards the 'have 10 children' lifetime want for a Sim.

I usually keep the amount of children my Sims have at or near the German level: One or two kids is enough.

I usually have 2-3. Though I did once have loads of kids so my sims want for lots of kids was fulfilled... Yeah, my computer crashed so I don't have that family anymore sad

I find Sims without kids boring. I once made a Sim to try to just achieve aspirations and such, but then I had her adopt a kid! Having one kid in the house is too easy still..

So yeah. I like to go for 3 or more. If it's possible, then I'd like to have kids in the house at all times. biggrin

Usually only one, right before the sim ages to elder. I just started up a legacy where both parents had the family lifetime wish... two fertility treatments later they had six kids. All toddlers and children. Without cheats. Thank goodness they're all adults now and bringing in the cash, I've almost built the perfect house to fit them all.

I would say my average is two. Mostly because when they're in the child stage, it's boring. So I often just decide not to have any kids. Although, when my families do have children, they usually have more than one.
