Nah, but I think Vegeta maybe did it out of lineage perhaps, to keep his genetics go under his name--though apparently Trunks has Bulma's last name since Vegeta don't have one but--guh! D8 Logic destroyed.

I believe that, too. I don't think they ever mentioned anything about marriage in the Japanese version and there may have been a slight hint that they were during the Buu saga on the Supreme Kai's planet in the English version.
