[[A few weeks after the last RP? o3o]]
Azar had been surprisingly spending more time with Khin. Her temper was settling and even though some times he still hit that wrong button she was learning to keep her calm and she was starting to slowly become the male's friend. You could say she was starting to grow up, but it wasn't even that. She was starting to realize there was more for her to do other than work. She now was starting to appreciate the different lions she interacted with in her family and she also was starting to spend more time with the lions around in her pride. She was happy to be wandering around and enjoying life as much as she wanted to.
But today was a different story she laid in the back of her den stretched off trying to cool off in the shade of the den, her body trying to take the cold from the ground of the den and she didn't want to move much. She wasn't feeling that great, her head was pounding and her stomach didn't seem that happy, her head was pounding and she didn't know what to do with herself. She sneezed before groaning and resting her head back down on the den floor. She hated being sick. She hated it so much. She would randomly be hot then cold and if it wasn't that she was sneezing or the whole den was spinning! God she wanted to feel better! It had been like this for the last few days.

When Azar had first got sick, Khin'del had laughed to himself. Now he simply went about his day waiting till the illness had ran its course. He wasn't worried, and really didn't offer any words to insure other-wise. Of course he could have been nice and shared with her some of his meal - after all, the lioness hadn't been able to get out and hunt properly, much less go get food any other way - but in his time Khin'del had always known foods to make illness worse. It was liquids that worked best, but it wasn't like he had anything that would hold water that he could bring her either. Azar just had to tough it out.

Azar had had enough of being stuck in her den. She wanted to get out and she didn't want to stay in her den all day. On top of that she was thirsty. She looked around her den before letting out a sigh and standing up she stumbled for a moment trying to catch her balance as quickly as she could. She shook off the dizziness before wandering slowly out of her pride. She needed to get some air and she didn't care how hot... or for that matter how dizzy she was.
She growled before moving slowly toward the watering hole that wasn't that far away from her house. She sighed slightly as she wandered, she was wobbling a bit as she walked she soon wandered up to the water and she flopped down by the water. She reached out a paw and and stuck it in the water before licking the water clean from her paw, scooting forward and lapping up some of the water. Sitting up some as she did. It was nice to get some sleep.

"If the water hole ws bigger I'd suggest laying in it, but I don't think many others would take too kindly to that," Came the voice of Khin'del who had been near by. "really, swimming is a wonderful, refreshing, thing. It's a pity you don't get to do any of that in these parts..." And there he was seated on the other side of the water, looking around as casually as can be.

Azar jumped when the male spoke, not because he scared her but because she sneezed. She sniffled for a moment before looking back at him. She really looked like she wasn't int he best shape. Her coat looked dull and she looked like she hasn't had much sleep in the last few days. She chuckled slightly and shook her head. "The main oasis you can swim in." She nodded slightly she had swam in it many many time when she was growing up. "It is nice to swim." She said thoughtfully before lapping up alittle more water. She looked back at him before shrugging. "Not many others use this watering hole... They prefer the bigger ones."

"Well then, why don't you take your sick self and roll in it. You're bound to feel better if you do." Being in water was like being back in the womb...only without the food. If you closed your eyes and just floated it felt so nice.... of course you had to keep your nose above water, but that was as simple as leaving your head on shore. The desert's waters might have been an odd mixture of warm and cool, but they'd do the trick.

Azar glanced back at the male then stuck her tongue out at him. She stood up stumbling once more before moving into the water just enough so she could lay down and the water stopped a little below her shoulders. "What are you doing around here?" She asked curiously before holding her breath trying to fight another sneeze but failing once more. She growled then closed her eyes trying to enjoy the feeling of cooling off. She hated more than anything being hot, so when she had a chance to cool down she really enjoyed it. being sick however did not make it easy.

"I was passing by. It's high noon so I was waiting for the sun to go down a little before I did some more training." Because when the sun was highest in the sky Khin'del didn't train. That was left to the mid-morning hours, and the afternoons. Night time was for hunting, and mid day was for socializing. He'd made himself a nice little schedule.

Azar looked at him then nodded, she wasn't that sure what else she was to say to her. She nodded then opened her eyes sitting up and watching some of her watter drip off of her body. She growled then flicked her tail around in the water. "I hate being sick." She sneezed before huffing a bit oh she really hated being sick. She lifted her paw and rubbed her nose. She normally would shake the water off of her fur but she was enjoying the feeling of the water on her coat. She held her balance the best she could as she before settling out side of the water. "Argg." She shivered as she wandered out shaking the fur off of her body. "now I have the chills."

"Sun bathe on a rock" was Dr.Khin'del's simple, offhanded, solution. The rocks would be plenty warm though. "Being outside is better for you than staying in that cave anyway. The sun seems to have uncanny healing power..."
For as sensible as he could be at time, he would every so often go on tangents like that...

Azar rolled her eyes at him before standing up. "I would if it didn't give me a horrible headache." She grunted as she stood up to tell the truth she didn't like the idea of this male seeing her weak. "I'm gonna go lay down." She held balance the best as she started to wander toward her den, well tired. She ended up back on the ground, sighing as she did. "Arrgggggg." She growled again then sat where she was, flicking her tail around. "Or I'm not going to go anywhere."

Khin'del watched amusedly, never once offering to help, but that was just how he was. "mm-hn, seems so. If light is what gives you a headache, the do like the ostrich and bury your head in the sand." The thought was rather amusing...though he doubted that Azar had ever seen an ostrich.

Azar looked at the male and then rolled her eyes. She looked at him then growled slightly. "I was in my den out of the sun but then I got thirsty." She glanced at him then shook her head. "Look, do you really have to give me a hard time when I can't even walk straight?" She questioned him, she normally could stand his attitude but at the moment she couldn't the fact that she was tired and sick she couldn't take the attitude with out getting really angry. "Please, cut me some slack."

"I'm merely making simple sugestions that you need not rile yourself up over. I didn't lul you out of your cave or make you thirsty." He shrugged. "Gods know how you got sick in the first place. The desert really isn't crawling with diseases...."

She stared at him she didn't know what to say to him there really wasn't anything to say to him. she shook her head at him. "I said please, come on have a heart for five minutes and drop the sarcasm." She grumbled as she stood up once more, it took her a few seconds before then she started to trot a few steps then stopped. "You can join me if you want but only if you promise to leave your sarcasm at the door." She glanced at him before flicking her tail around a few times. Part of her wanted him to join her, really wanted him to join her. She wanted some company, she felt like she hadn't had much interaction with anyone in a while. Sure there was some times where some one would stop in but she hadn't had a conversation in some time.
