Interesting Music Genre Fusions

I sometimes come across groups/artists that considered a combination of several genres, sometimes seemingly completely unrelated genres.

Astronautalis is a great one I recently came across, since he's been touring with P.O.S. and Dessa. His music fuses primarily Hip-Hop, Indie, and Experimental, as well as Indie Rock, Electro, and Talking Blues.

Unexpect: Avant-garde extreme metal
It mixes elements from these styles in their music:
Electro, Black Metal, Gypsy Music Progressive Metal, Melodic Heavy Metal, medieval music, European Classical music, Opera, Jazz, Ambient, Noise, aaaand Circus Music.


Kaizers Orchestra:
Balkan-folk, rock, alternitive, fast-paced gypsy rock, cabaret, norwegian polka and a whole lot more.
It's been called "Gypsy Rock Punk" and refeered to as the "Thinking man's circus music" but honestly I don't think even the band themself know what genre they belong to since they mostly refeer to themself as "Kaizerrock"

Björk:
pop, alternative rock, jazz, ambient, avant-garde, electronic, classical, folk and trip hop

Mindless Self Indulgence:
punk rock, alternative rock, electronica, hip-hop, and industrial.


Porcupine Tree:
Progressive rock, progressive metal, psychedelic rock, space rock
under influances from trance, krautrock and ambient
