Something to ponder over

Have any of you watch the whole Sex and the City series? if not, I'll just tel you, that Carrie Bradshaw (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) is the main character. She is a journalist for a NY newspaper. In one episode, she was right an article. A very interesting article. The conclusion was pretty much something to seriously ponder over.

"Could you make a mistake, and miss your fate?"

They say every choice we make in life leads us to our fate, but what if you screw things up so bad that you ruin your own destiny? Can that happen? Could you make a mistake, and miss your fate?

What are your thoughts?

Well, me personally, I don't believe in Destiny.
I believe in potential, consequences, and coincidences, though.

Meaning, if somebody screws up bad enough so that they missed their "destiny", I see it as they simply didn't use their potential enough to make it to something they could have if they tried harder, was in the right place, had better "luck", etc.

I mean, in the end, who is to say that destiny is even real? The same could be argued that it was their "fate" to miss their "destiny", and all that just gets confusing.

I might have confused everybody, though, but it makes sense in my head. xD

I believe everyone gets second chances. So if you miss it the first time, you'll find the chance to do it again. Got to have faith.

Idk but if there's really "destiny" then either way they end up at it, one way or another. The mistakes are destined to happen.

But I dun believe in destiny so that's only theoretical
