Midoriko, or Natsuki, as her new name was, padded out towards the boundaries of the pride. The scent of the sea was strong even at the inland border, she had yet to grow accustomed to it. There were a few plants out here that she had to gather before she would call her "herb" collection complete. The sun was setting on the warm day as her emerald eyes scanned for that elusive white flower, at the base of which was the herb. "Where are you, where are you?" she asked as she searched, sniffing for the plant.
"Over here, over here!" her muse, plants, responded, but from every direction. Having such a broad muse was confusing sometimes. Though, she rather enjoyed it, she had to admit.
"No no, I'm looking for just one type of you, one branch, if you will."
"Well, which 'branch' of me do you seek?" her muse asked her matter-of-factly.
"... I never thought to clarify," she said, speaking aloud to the voices in her head that she interpreted as her muse, an enlightened look on her face. She made a mental note, she'd have to be very precise with her muse in the future. "I'm looking for the white flowered herb that can be used to heal cuts," she explained. "Where is that plant?"
"Oh, well. Seems you need to be better at seeking, why don't you find that yourself? After all, what fun would it be to just tell you? You need to use everything you can to find it, though, it won't be easy." it said.
"I see," she responded to it, keeping quiet and sniffing for the herb again. It had to be around somewhere... Not even using her eyes, Natsuki meandered this way and that, following her nose and not paying attention to where her feet were taking her. Then... there!
She hadn't even needed to say anything, the simple thought of having found the scent was good enough for her muse to hear.
"Yes, yes! That's it! Follow that scent! Without hesitation or question, Natsuki did just that, following like a dog on a scent trail before opening her eyes- and when she did, it was right there in front of her. "Thank you for the advice!" She said to her muse, looking around to address all of it at once.
"Anytime," it said simply.

The male was bleeding, not heavily but it was a lot, there was a bit of a light trail following behind him. He was annoyed at this idea but it didn't keep him from wandering. He simply convinced himself that it would stop and that was all too it he wasn't going to worry about stopping his wandering to clean somthing that was going to keep bleeding then on top of that get blood all matted in his fur when he just cleaned all of him. There was no point on just stopping to take care of the little limb.
He was doubting wandering into this area, was it worth a fight?Of course it was he was looking for something pretty to give his daughters when he picked them back up at their mothers pride later on. He still had a few good days of wandering before he had to head back and pick his girls up. He wanted to enjoy the time. Even if he spent a nice amount of it looking for things to take home to his daughters. He loved those girls.
But he liked other girls too, what a flirt he was, he would make the moves on anyone that was old enough. Flirting was one of his favorite things even though he had to admit that it didn't always end up good. Sure! He loved his daughters but then again taking care of cubs wasn't the most fun thing to do. Then again that only happened because he decided to stick around with the female.
He shook off his thoughts as he heard the sound of some one talking. His curiosity got the best of him, he wasn't that sure who it was or why he was attracted in that direction but he went anyway, forgetting about the gaping wound on his leg he spoke anyway. "Hello miss!"

Midoriko plucked the leaves from the flower she'd found, thinking her thanks to her muse all the while, and then picked the flowers last- they were pretty, and would last a few days. She had the time to tuck them neatly behind her ear and to pick up the leaves before hearing the stranger. She gave a slight jump.
"We've got a visitor~" her muse sang, amused. She looked up to see said visitor. Yup, definitely a visitor. She didn't recognize his face or markings at all, and Natsuki was quite certain that she'd never seen him in his life.
"You know this guy?" she whispered almost silently to her muse.
"Nope, that's why I called him a visitor," it responded shortly.
She gave a smirk off to the grass at her feet before returning her gaze to the dark lion before her. He had a nice face, she noticed that about him first. "Hello there!" She responded pleasantly with a smile. Though, it didn't take long before...
"Something's amiss, time to work our magic!" her muse announced to her.
Her nose had caught the scent and her eyes shot immediately to the lion, looking for the area that reeked of blood. "Something is amiss indeed!" She said aloud both to her muse and the stranger. "That cut, you've gotta let me see that," she said urgently, wasting no time getting her face in there. "You're sure lucky, I found just the treatment for this sort of thing not two minutes ago! You want me to treat it?" She asked, already reaching for the leaves she had.
Introductions can come later, right? she asked both to herself and her muse.

Nazar glanced at the male taking her in, she was a little younger but from what he could tell not too much. He wasn't going to be that worried about it. A smirk grew on his lips as he nodded to her. Loosing up some as he looked at her he was trying to make himself look as un-threatening as he could. He really didn't want to scare her off or for that matter made her angry. He really wasn't in the mood to get attacked....
Which reminded him when she spoke he was hurt. She blinked at her first comment before holding out his leg to the female, a confused look was spread across his face he couldn't help but to wonder what was going on through this lionesses's head she looked like a very interesting lioness. He shrugged before nodding toward her. "I wouldn't mind if you treated it." He laughed before shaking his head. "It really isn't bothering me but if a lovely lioness like you wants to pratice her medicine on me I really wouldn't mind." He smiled at the idea.

"Ooooh, Natsu, this guy is SOOO coming onto you~~" her muse sang amusedly, all of the plants seemed to sway in unison to her. She waved her paw to quiet them before looking back to him. "Oh, thanks," she said, folding her ears a little back and putting on the cutest face she could (which was pretty cute.) "Well then, I'll get to work on it right away," she said, looking down at it before looking up at his face. "These kind of things can get really nasty if you leave them, you know, you're lucky you bumped into me, I know a lot about plants."
She pulled out some herbs quickly, turning away from his leg for a few seconds to prepare the herbs. She crushed them against a rock on the ground with her claw, but it was a difficult task, it'd take a bit. "So, my name's Natsuki, and I'm a healer for the pride that you undoubtedly know is very nearby," she said looking back up to him with a smile, never stopping her smooshing of the leaves. "What's your name?" she asked with a headtilt.
"And the ball's in his court," her muse commented distractingly.

Nazar glanced at her slightly amused, he had let many of injury linger with out worry before he really didn't know it was bad to let them heal themselves, he normally kept them pretty clean and he knew under his fur he had some old scars from letting them heal like that but then again letting this one heal was going to be interesting. Maybe he could come to her again if this worked. That would be nice and if she was really good he would remember to bring his daughters if they got sick... He grinned at the female she really was a cutie.
"I didn't know they could really get bad." He chuckled slightly before nodding in agreement, in that case I'm very glad that I ran into you.
He waited a moment as he watched her carefully trying to figure out what she was using. "You have some pretty nice flowers around here." He said nodding he was thinking about grabbing a few to take home to his daughters. "I'm in a pride?" He questioned curiously, he really didn't know that! He found it was really surprising. "Wow... Really? I didn't know thank you for telling me! I hope it is a friendly pride." He cleared his throat for a moment then looked around he really hoped he wasn't going to get in trouble for this. "My name is Nazar." He said simply with a nod. "It's Very nice to meet you Natsuki."

"Oh, these flowers are very elusive. At the base of them, actually, are these leaves," she said, motioning to the herb she was grinding up. "If you want the flowers I've got here, you can have them, I know where to find more of them if I need to," she said. "Besides, I get help finding them," she said, speaking quite cryptically of her muse.
"Yeah, you're pretty close to the border, though. We're the Kizingo'zaa, and yeah, we're friendly," she said with an ear-to-ear smile. She was quite glad she'd found such a pleasant place herself, she wondered if the stranger felt the same at all. "I wouldn't worry too much, the pride's a safe-haven, and as long as you don't hurt anyone, you're welcome in." She had noticed his unease and hoped this would calm him down some. "Nice to make your acquaintance, Nazar," Natsu said genuinely with a smile.
She checked on the progress of her grinding. "Ah, yes, these are ready when you are, it might sting a bit when I put them on, but it'll subside quickly enough," she said, gathering the resultant paste on one of her paw pads. She leaned back carefully onto her haunches and held out her free front paw expectantly, awaiting the wounded limb.
In all honesty, for someone having been raised in the roguelands, by a mother who didn't really trust males, Natsu had become very trusting after her time in the pride. Perhaps it was the insanity, perhaps it was just the sort of peace she had found here, but she assumed everyone to be good. Not a single word of warning popped into her head anymore, as it used to when she was a rogue not that long ago. But... She was very happy for that.

He looked at the flowers before a smile slowly crept on his face. He would really want to take a few home his daughters would love them! He looked at the other lioness before smiling slightly. "You sure you wouldn't mine?" He looked at them before pulling a few closer to his paws. "Wow, thanks. I know a guy who can make them last for a while... well pretty wise anyway he braids them into chains. I have a few girls who would really love these." He chuckled "I'll have to come back after giving them to my daughters." His daughters was never something he was afraid to hide. "They don't see their mother often so when it comes to things like this from me, being a guy and all, it means a lot to them."
He always loved that idea, he was carried away with his own thoughts before he finally caught her last comment. "Really? Thats pretty cool, do you have a friend that helps you?" He asked trying to seem as interested into what this female was saying as he could.
He paused as she said that he was near a pride he didn't like that idea he didn't like prides all too much. He looked at her when she said it was friendly. "Are you sure?" He asked curiously. He had been chased away from prides many of times he didn't want it to happen again. He flicked his hair out of his eyes before sighing. "As long as it's friendly I'm good I don't want another one of these." He glanced down at his leg.
"I don't mind the sting." He said plainly. "I don't mind at all." He nodded slightly before nodding to her. He watched her carefully he was a little weary of others himself but this lioness seemed calm enough he was pretty calm too right now, he wasn't that sure what it was though but he liked it, he really liked it.

"Ooo, you have daughters? How sweet! After I'm done with your leg we should go look for some more flowers for them..." she said, looking about for some in immediate sight.
"Yeah, I have a friend who helps me find and gather them, but... Well, they're kinda shy, they don't like strangers," she said, thinking that was the best way to put it. A little longer in this pride, and she wouldn't remember at all that as a rogue, she hadn't been claimed by her muse at all, none of the plants ever spoke to her back then. Just a little longer, and her memories would be deluded enough that she would think they were talking to her her whole life. However, for the time being, she had enough ties to reality that she knew he didn't have a muse, not yet, anyway.
"I love plants, flowers, anything green really. As long as I can remember, I've loved plants," she said, practically envisioning each and every blade of grass giving her a hug at the love. "So I try to keep track of where flowers are, and which types are good for healing, which smell the best, so on..." She said as she gently put the paste in Nazar's wound. Her eyebrows furrowed just a bit as she did it, as if she was feeling the sting herself. She... Didn't like to cause anyone any sort of pain, even if it was for their own good. "But I've never heard of braiding them together, that must sure be pretty!" she said with a smile to the male. "Yes, I'd like it if we could go flower-hunting after this," she said with a smile.
She cleaned off the last of the paste. "That should do it, that'll keep it pretty clean, and it'll help to heal it, and I'll bet it feels a lot better already. It should hurt less, right?" She said with a smile.

Nazar chuckled slightly before nodding at her the smile growing on his face. "I do have daughters, three of them." He laughed slightly before flicking his hair out of his eyes and smiling. "they are the things that keep my from doing something stupid." He then looked down at his foot before laughing slightly. "Well right now they are visiting their mom so as you can guess." He smiled at her he couldn't help it, he found it was amusing when they went to visit their mom he ended up getting hurt in some way.
He glanced at her with a hopeful look for a moment before a grin grew across his face. "Really, you would do that." He blinked for a moment at her before nodding. "Well I guess that makes sense if they are shy then they are shy and that's all too it." He chuckled before stretching his legs out. If only he knew what was going on with this female in her mind he would have thought she was really losing it. But yet at the same time he wouldn't really care, she was a cutie what was the matter with liking a cute lioness even if they were crazy?
"My daughters love flowers." He chuckled slightly and nodded at her. Not many others have heard of braiding things together. like that to tell the truth. He shrugged then nodded. "They are really pretty. I'd love to go flower hunting." He smirked at her, it was a good idea. "I'll keep it clean..." He looked down at his paw for a moment before smiling. "It kind of does."

Natsu chuckled at the idea. "I'd be more than willing to help you out! After all, I know where everything is, it would save you a lot of time," she said. In the short amount of time she'd been here, Natsuki already knew where a lot of different plants were. Of course, she thanked her muse for that.
"Oh yeah, they're really shy," she affirmed, hoping that that was that on this topic.
"Shy, puh." Her muse said to her with a small huff. "Nice excuse there, Natty-Natsu! What type of flowers are you gonna gather for him?"
"Hmmm, what types of flowers indeed," she said aloud, though quietly, in response to her muse. "What type of flowers would you like to gather, Nazar? Do they have any favorite colors?" She asked.
Natsuki was ecstatic that her treatment was already working. This was the first case of not-healing herself, she was beaming because she could be of help to someone. It really was like a dream come true, especially since she was now with her muse that had doubtlessly helped her out. Everything had fallen into place since she came here.

Nazar grinned slightly nodding to her in acknowledgement. "Good point, you do know more about the flowers around here compared to me." He smiled before wiggling his paws in the sand. He found all of this pretty cool. One thing was for sure he was excited to have some company today, he hated not having anyone to talk to some times, it was never any fun. Despite the fact that he had a short temper and got into fights with others often he liked company. Well he always did get along with females easier..
He chuckled at the idea that they were shy. He knew one of his daughters was shy she was growing out of that though. But then again she was younger she was wondering hold old Natsu's friend was. He was curious if it was just a age thing. He was hoping so, he wouldn't want his daughter to be shy for a really long time he wanted bold and confident children.
He glanced at the lioness and shrugged. "They like a lot of things." He nodded as she stood up shaking the dirt off of his coat. "Anything that's pretty will work." He nodded proudly at the other lion. "Beside they aren't picky." He laughed.

No preference, no preference! Her muse teased as the lioness' thoughts turned in her head. Now what? the muse demanded.
"We'll get them the best-smelling flowers, then. They're pretty too, but they have a great smell. You can kinda smell them now, can't you?" she asked, taking a deep breath into the wind. Her muse, right on cue, released a waft of the scent from a slight distance for her to follow to the source. She assumed he would keep up- she trotted along at a pretty decent pace, but didn't run for fear of his wound opening or hurting.
Natsu skidded to a stop just at the peak of a small hill. As the hill descended into the landscape, a small field of flowers became apparent, their scent powerful enough to veil most any other scent just because of their quantity in the small area. "They're nice, right? How many do you need?" She asked.
