I figure quite a few of ya all might be able to help me with the following. Hell I could probally type in names of different monsters from the FF games to help me with this probally thinking about it just now.

arrow I am trying to find out some different kinds of elemental myth creatures types for the following combinations

mrgreen CULTURE Middle Eastren, Islamic, Arabic
ELEMENT Fire
MYTH CREATURES Jinn

mrgreen CULTURE Asian esp. Japanese
ELEMENT Water
MYTH CREATURES Kappa

ninja I am fairly happy with the above two the below two I am not

wahmbulance CULTURE European
ELEMENT Wind
MYTH CREATURES -
^^ Trying to find something other then sylphs and is very fond of mountains if not exclusive to them

wahmbulance CULTURE African (tribal) or Native American
ELEMENT Earth

^^ I prefer something from African cultures but if NA that shall work good enough

my first though for your wind creature was a pegasus. These hail from Greek mythology, so it would fit into your European theme. I don't really have the time to do too much research, but I'm sure there are many more out there. I'd love to help more, but not tonight! sweatdrop

They referance a lot of mythology, period.
Not just creatures.

Strangly Bahamut, Ifrit, and Tiamat came from Arabian myth.

Tiamat is Sumerian, as is Gilgamesh.

for native american mythological creaures, i could suggest a Thunderbid biggrin quite popular amongst natives..
