selam alejkum brothers and sisters!
I wanna know what do you all do when you find differnet versions of a prayer? such as when a line in a prayer is different from the one you read online to the one you find in a book? does it count if you say either one because you're trying, or what?
I have a book about islam and praying and it shows al-fatiha said one way, but online it's different?
which version should I go with? thanks!

i have the same problem.
but my mom says as long as u got the niyaat of doing it right, and u try. it is fine smile Even big imaams can do it wrong, and asks for forgiveness from their mistakes.
don't worry, but try to figureout the right =)

I came across this a lot as well, a main example was the Tasshahud, some books and sites and even Imman's fail to mention the Statement of Refuge after the Blessings of Mohammed and Ibrahim(Pbut).
If you are not in a position to get a definite and clear answer, do as your Local Imman or the Majority of sources tell you to do, there will be no blame on you if the source of your information is incorrect, Allah(swt) is understanding and forgiving.
