There are many fossils around the world, showing that once there were dino's, but has anyone found the Garden of Eden? How did human kind really get here? Was it God, or the Big Bang. Let the debate begin!!!

You do realize that this will most likely dead end because no ones going to be getting anywhere with this question xd
Personally i could care less anymore, because in all reality you have to take into consideration that all the Christians have is a book where as the scientists have all of their life’s work and evidence that allot of what the bible says is false or written off as a divine act.
If you want to go ahead and believe that some old guy up in the sky made everything then go ahead and disregard the people who find all the cures for those diseases, predict the things that could kill hundreds, save your lives and over all devote their lives to their work and YOU not some god but YOU

Hey does anyone think that without the bible the lack of moral feeling within the value of human life would drop more then it has now? I mean think it even with all the government systems people still break the rules due to illness, insanity, or just do it for fun. With the bible it cover's up for some wholes that the system still can't fill in, although I don't really believe in god I would still use that bible as a means to control people's outburst of hate, rape, and other Sin's that are with in the bible, oh whats funny is everything you do is a sin in some other religious bibles I just love the way people think.

only lazy interpretations of science and religion require them to conflict with each other.

A lot of belief is the backround of knowing something is real to you or in your own mind.
If you walked into a building, and you made it seem you knew where you were and knew people that worked there and didnt panic, not a single person would notice you or think you were doing anything out of the ordinary. (Even if they had never seen you before.) In a normal situations that is.
Unless you where a true (Idiot) and tried to walk into a place that is definatly restricted like a ER room or such.
Basically "Beliefs" or "Thoughs" are a powerful thing. And like everything else can be manipulated in a persons perception of what is supposed to be and what isnt.

He's right, the extent of what you can believe is how you reply to this. But personally since i get science and not thwe bible in any shape or form plus the idea of a spiritual overlord making my life's decisions for me creeps me out so i'd say science

As far as I'm concerned, either one is just as likely,
I mean think about it, God creating everything, or everything magically exploding into existence from nothingness? And of course there is a certain amount of overlap there, it's possible that god made the universe through the big bang, to "create" something doesn't necessarily mean that it was there instantly.
And from that, you may bring up the 7 days thing. A "Day" is NOT standard measurement, on Earth it's 24 hours, on Venus it's something like 6 I believe, on Pluto 1 day is several hundred Earth years, who's to say 1 day in heaven isn't several billion Earth years?
Kinda the same thing with evolution, how do we know that god didn't start small, creating something that would eventually grow into a final form? Evolution isn't even proven, it's just a theory, one that has yet to have any actual proof, no fossils of any halfway-type creatures, just fossils of seperate organisms that share genetic similarities. Same with the big bang, unproven, and it's case specifically cannot ever be proven.
As I said, either one is just as likely, so i'd rather go for the one with some insurance-- if Evolutionism is correct, then absolutely nothing happens at all, if Christianity is correct, then something DOES happen.

ummm.... actually there are fossils of halfway type creatures...fish with hands as it were....
regardless, I like your style. These thoughts have occured to me as well. It seems entirely possible, even obvious, that atoms are God's legos, and natural selection is his recipe for life.....if you believe in an omniscient/omnipresent creator deity that is...
