I find the idea of hell offensive, no god or goddess should send its followers or those who don't believe in it to an eternity of pain and suffering. That would then make that god or goddess malevolent instead of benevolent which is what most religions portray their deities as.
However the concept of an eternal paridise after death appeals to many including myself perhaps becuase it provides a motivation and reason besides our own faith to follow the teachings of our religion.
So yes as ive already said Nevariens do believe in a heaven of sorts but we have no hell

does not believe in heaven or hell, souls are reincarnated in different bodies after death and the better you lived your life the better animal/person/being you end up as in the next one.

Judaism is interesting in that the Holy Torah does not mention any afterlife. At all. Nothing. No mention of anything after death. So as a result, there is no official Jewish afterlife.
Some Jews believe in no afterlife at all. Just death.
Some Jews believe in reincarnation like the Hindus do.
Some Jews believe in Heaven and Hell like Christians do.
Most Jews believe in the Rabbinic theory of Gan Eden and Gehenna. Gan Eden is the Garden of Eden where your soul goes if you are good. Gehenna is the bad place where bad people go to be rehabilitated for a sentence of up to a year before going to Gan Eden.
The Ultra-Orthodox Jews believe in the Rabbinic theory of Gan Eden and Sheol. Gan Eden is the Garden of Eden where your soul goes if you are good. Sheol is a place for those so evil that upon entrance the soul ceases to exist.

Yes my religion believes in a heaven and a hell though what hell is, is not clearly defined except as remaining trapped in the world and not being with Yeshua's God. This could mean a number of things such as reincarnation, non-existence after death, some metaphysical realm where Yeshua's God isn't at, etc. Take your pick, but hell may or may not be a punishment in my religion depending on what you want.

My religion does not have a hell but following the guidelines of my tradition if you live an evil life your soul is destroyed. So you don't have to worry about hell. As for the rest, I wouldn't call it heaven as much as just an afterlife.

We (Jews) believe in some form of justice after this physical life. We think there will be bodily ressurection (which is why Jews frown upon cremation and embalming) in some way or form, and that God will be more evident in the world to come than in this one. But we don't spend much time thinking about what it's like.
Of course, not everyone gets to go to, for lack of a better word, heaven. The truly wicked, like Hitler and Koni, get sent to Sheol, the Jewish version of hell. Not much fun. But that's not so much a threat to the wicked as an assurance that the world to come won't be just like this one.

So yes as ive already said Nevariens do believe in a heaven of sorts but we have no hell Do not speak of other peoples Gods as if you know them. Greek and Roman Gods were not portrayed as perfectly kind, they were known to curse people on a regular basis. They did not decide their fate after death either. When they arrived in the underworld, they were sent to 1 of 3 places, dependent on how they lived their life. This was not the will of the Gods, not even of Hades. The underworld was simply there, and Hades was the one tricked into watching over it. Norse Gods are known for their tempers. There are Egyptian deities who demanded sacrifice (along with many other religions gods). The Christian God is said to be loving and forgiving. But it is up to the person to ask for that forgiveness. If they go to hell, it is only themselves that they have to blame. At least, I've never seen a Christian blame God for someones soul being damned. If I live an evil life, and my Goddess sentences me to Hell, I cannot blame them. That does not make them malevolent, it makes them fair, and just. Of course, I do not believe in Hell, it doesn't fit into my beliefs.
